Volkswagen India — car dealer insurance mishandling | |||
I am the owner of a polo1.2 Volkswagen car Which i bought on October 23, 2014. Sir, i want your concern over the matter that i was travelling from bareilly to shahjahanpur on may 26, 2015 Car jumped on a pot hole on road and radiator water got drained. My Car was picked by bareilly dealer from shahjahanpur later on. Now dealer told me that engine and radiator is damaged and engine is not covered in insurance policy. First issue is when i purchased car the deal was ₹6, 80, 000 on road and no other expenses. Now insurance company bajaj allianz general insurance company Ltd. is saying engine is not covered by this policy. I want to know the responsibility of the dealer in the case because he made the insurance himself and did not tell me which insurance policy he made. For saving some amount of money, he made the wrong policy. Second issue is that only eight months old car is damaged by jumping on road while my confidence was polo is very heavy and safe car but it totally disappointed me. Sir, i have been using hyundai's car, honda city and maruti zen car also since a long time but this situation never happened while road jumps seldom occur and is a quite general thing. This dealer has been doing a lot of mistakes in the past also, for instance, not giving the accessories with the car, not providing original papers etc.. So i humbly request you to pay attention over my concern as I am unable to use my car from over a month now and kindly replace the engine soon so that i continue to believe in polo.
