Dear Sir, With due respect I want to state that since yesterday night there is power cut in the home of my Sister which details are as follows : Name & Address of Consumer : Afsari begam, W/O: LT. Kalam Khan, Islampur, Asansol- 713301 Near : Masjid Consumer No: D06174, Consumer ID:[protected], I tried many times to call your toll free number of Burdwan [protected] but failed to connect so finally we went to the Asansol office-1 to complain regarding the power cut, but none of the staff giving any proper response. After lots of harassment, we requested lots in counter no-3, they lodge my complain but they never give any satisfactory response that when their staff will solve our problem and when they go to home of my sister to solve the matter. After then, we visit counter No-2 where Mr.Gangualy was sitting and Smoking consecutively in the Office area where smoking is prohibited and did not take any concern and his behavior was ruthless and careless towards people. We requested them that we are in dark due to electricity failur in the month of Ramadan. We are facing problems in fasting but they don’t care. After facinf lots of harassment and rude behaviour of employee, we return home and again tried to your toll free complain number of Burdwan and this time we got the call and lodge the complain of power failure which complaint No. 39877642 We with a group of people could protest for this, but we thought to go further to higher authority. So I would qequest you to solve this matter immediately as we are facing lots of prblems due to power failure in fasting condition in month of Ramadan. People are very angry for this kind of behaviour and ready to protest but we stop them. Almost all people of Asansol have same complaint regarding your employee. We request you to direct to all your employee to behave with people in professional matter and they should not think that people are servant of them and don’t underestimate the power of common people. Also instruct them to not smoking in office during the duties otherwise we will take legal step in this regards and will complain also at Office of the Ombudsman, West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission, Kolkata.
