[Resolved]  Xolo — Xolo Mobile - Delaying by a very long time to repair the mobile display issue

Respected Staff, This is regarding a Xolo mobile - Q1010i (dual sim) which my son bought on Apr 15, 2014 from mobile zone shop - Fountain Plaza, Pantheon Road, Egmore, Chennai. IMEI 1 no - [protected] and IMEI 2 - [protected] Around a week back, his mobile fell down in water in a small bike accident. The bike person hit his bike and then my son fell down. The mobile phone which was there in his pocket eventually fell down into a stagnant water(due to rain) near by. Then the phone`s display did not work at all. He dried the phone in the sun and then tried to restart the mobile and still the display was not working. After giving the phone to the mobile zone shop, they gave it to the service centre for getting the estimate on the issue, the service centre said that the display is gone because of water and that the display has to be replaced. They said that the stock needs to be ordered from head office which would take more than 20 days, after which they will get the stock and change the display and give the phone in 1 month or 45 day`s time. We also called them to check and they responded the same. Till then my son doesnt have any other standby mobile. He is working and needs a phone. Taking such a long time is affecting our daily needs. This is a new mobile in the market. Please help us in speeding up the process of getting my son`s phone`s display replaced with a new one as soon as possible. Thank you very much! Jai Hind!

Dear Team,

After the service station kept the phone with them for around 10 days, they have now sent it to Delhi (head office) for replacement and services. Even after telling them that we need the phone as soon as possible, they said it will atleast take around 20 more days to get the repair done. The complaint number which has been newly given to us now is :- Work Order no[protected]

Even after asking them the reason for the delay and that we would escalate the matter, they responded saying there are already thousands of complaints in the consumer forum and you can be the 1001th customer for writing complaints there. They were not even serious about this issue or posting the complaint in the consumer forum. Please get this resolved soon, as its already been more than 2 weeks without phone. Also convey them the seriousness of consumer complaint which they do not seem to have at all. Its as if that these guys do not at all fear the seriousness of Indian Government
