Let me explain to you the complete scenario in detail.
I needed a 8(7+1) seater cab for my visit to Nainital which was planned for 21 April'23 at 7:00 am.
I have found and booked a cab through Yatra at midnight 1:00 am as 7+1 seater was available because my earlier cab got cancelled at the last moment.
At 6:00 morning i called the driver and discussed with him. He clearly mentioned that his car is 7 seater Innova(6+1) not a 8 seater.
He video called me through Whatsapp and showed me his vehicle and asked me to get connected with GetmeCab customer care.
Then we had a conference call with customer care & the driver because the vehicle which i booked was not available with Getmecab team.
Customer care executive asked me to show the pics of the cab that i booked earlier(a 8 seater SUV) for my visit(which got cancelled last moment).
I shared the pics to him over whatsapp and he told me that he can only provide me Ertiga or Innova which will be the same 7 STR and that too will take minimum of 2 hours.
I could have waited for 2 hours more if he agreed to provide a 8 STR cab but he didn't. My trip getting delayed at the last moment again.
I trusted yatra team not the getmecab as i don't know there support & feedback in google is also terrible.
I have paid 25% advance just to make sure that i get a correct cab on time in order to make my journey smooth on time.
Post getmecab denied i asked them to refund my money that i paid(Rs.2286) as advance.
They denied and my plan shattered due to this. Then, since 7:00 am in the morning it took me 2 hours to arrange another cab.
That too with the help of my Nainital resort manager where i booked my stay. Somehow i got a cab(Mahindra) and my jouney started at 11:30 am.
I reached the destination at 6:00 pm in the evening and my whole day plan got wasted due to this issue.
I was supposed to reached by 12:30 pm if i left on time from Delhi. The whole issue is because of GetmeCab team, my 1 day gets wasted.
Then also they are denying my refund as well when it was totally there fault. I could have not asked for refund if any issue is at my end.
@YAtra Team: I trusted just your brand name to book the cab with this 3rd party vendor during emergency otherwise I would have never taken such risks.
If you won't support your consumers then trust from Yatra is also broken and I had to escalate this further as i have evidence of my call history.
