[Resolved] Yatra.com — I have been charged twice for the same flight | |||
I did a flight booking online on yatra.com for me and my family from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad on 9th June 2014 which cost Rs 27, 372.00. While making this booking after the transaction was complete (I used netbanking) thought the transaction showed as successful on my bankers website yatra's website prompted that transaction was failed saying something like timed out or session expired. Immediately after this I got a call from one of the agents or representative of yatra and he told me to redo the transaction and he told me that the first transaction amount would be refunded and I should check with my banker. So I went ahead and did another transaction of Rs27, 372.00. When I check with my banker, they informed me that the transaction was successful and my money has reached yatra.com they also gave a reference number for the transaction which is[protected]-[protected]. I tried calling yatra.com support on the same issue but they said that I have to email to [protected]@yatra.com, and I did the same on 27th June 2014 but I have not received any reply from the support yet, which makes me to post a complain here. And one more thing is I got two email with subject "Payment Receipt" 1. One on 9th June 2014 (which is when I made this booking) from [protected]@yatra.com this mail has the details of my booking, 2. Another on 24th June 2014 which only had subject but no body and it was send from [protected]@yatra.com Which also makes me believe that my money is with yatra.com and I need yatra to act on it ASAP and refund my money. We have processed the full refund for the unsuccessful transaction for INR 27372 on 01st Jul under booking reference # [protected]. Since the transaction was done through Net Banking, it generally takes 7 to 10 working days for the amount to reflect in your account. Hence, you are requested to wait till that time and cross check the status of refund from the concerned bank after the completion of this period.
