[Resolved]  Yatra.com — over charged and no follow-ups

S945488 We booked package with Yatra.com . We felt we were cheated and were misguided: 1) We paid Rs 23000 (Flight 12000 + Hotel 11000) 2) We were told that we will be provided an 3 Star hotel but Yatra had booked a very bad hotel. This was not close to 3 STAR hotel from any angle. I have the pictures and will upload the same 3) There was no taxi arranged from the airport to the hotel and we had to book a pre-paid taxi and we were told that an email will be sent for the inconvenience and the same will be reimbursed. Till date we have not received any email from them. 4) When we went to the hotel on 28th Jun at 08:00pm we immediately around 08:30pm called and said that this is not the standard of hotel and we want to move out even if that costed extra money. Handler Deepak said that he will call back in 30 mins and after1.5 hrs also we didn’t get a call 5) Around 10:30 when I called the customer care spoke to Shashank he requested us to stay there for the night and will arrange for a new room the nest day. We waited till 12:00 and we didn’t receive any call from yatra custome care. 6) I then spoke to Shubhani, Ruchika and Kunal everyone promised a call back and then I had to make 15 calls to follow-up 7) Later Shubhani started balimg the hotel manager that he was not ready to refund where as the manager was standing next to me and said that he didn’t get any call regarding the refund 8) After few hours a new story started that since we had already checked in they can’t cancel where as we had called the customer care as soon as we saw the rooms condition 9) Shhbini kept dis-connecting my calls and said will speak to her manager and revert by 3th Jun 2014 Monday and the date today is 04 July 2014. Till date I have not recevied any calls 9) I am logging in a complaint with the comsumer forum as the hotel rooms were available for Rs 1200 per day and we were charged Rs 3666. when we questioned they told the hotel manager to tell us that this was booked online and we can’t refund. 10) What is the point bookiing in advanc when the hotel was available for Rs 1200 and we paid Rs 3666. 11) We then stayed there as there was no proper response and the hotel manager was kind enough to make the room as clean as possible as per his standards. Please bear in that this was not the standard we expect from a brand like you guys 12) WE WILL NEVER BOOK ANY DEALS FROM YATRA.COM AND WILL TAKE THE ISSUE IN THE CONSUMER FORM ALSO WILL TAKE THIS LEGALLY.
