Yatra Online — Cancellation | |||
Order booking number:[protected] I had booked hotel room through Yatra online on 12 night for stay in Asiana palace, chennnai. Unfortunately, I had to cancel trip and had to return midway. So, as i was traveling, I had contacted customer care of yatra. They informed me, i have intimate to hotel and get confirmation from them. I called the number shared by yatra and the person by name Mr.Ramashivam informed me, He should get a cancellation letter from yatra. I again intimated through yatra customercare about it and shared email to [protected]@yatra.com. The concerned person, informed me that they will intimate me tomorrow morning. I didnt get any reply from them, I calledup myself again on 14th Jan afternoon. But this time, the customer care person spoke very rashly and he was questioning me, as if it was my fault and there was clearly not politeness while talking and he instigated me to talk rashly. The customer care executives of yatra are of no help, in making the situation understand and they made it worse. I felt like i was harassed. he didn't believe my words and the effort that i have been putting to resolve the issue. He also, cut my call.. General: You don't have clear cancellation policy for hotels and you don't help customers in the end that's what i felt. Word of advise to everybody, Please be careful with all the online travel agencies as i don't believe they operate in a fair way. I think they are playing with customers and also with hotels. I believe the hotel would not have got the money i paid and neither me in the end. Was this information helpful? | |||

I, Farhan Akhtar booked my stay at Hotel Rajputana Heritage, Vigyan Nagar, Ranthambhor Road, Sawi Madhopur, Rajsthan on Oct 1st, 2017 for one night stay against YAT[protected] & ref No[protected].
But the hotel is not ready to honour this booking for which I have made full terif amount Rs 3358/- which have been accepted by Yatra.com.
Now, Sir, I am finding myself cheated and having no amount with me book at other place.
You are requested to get me booked at some other hotel of same stature.

If, Yatra.com is not able to command it's credibility then it's better not accept money from the consumer against provideing services but to guide consumer to pay at the counter after availing services as was being practiced in the past in India.
If cannot assure to the services then how you can accept the money.
I am very much ineterested to avail the relocation but if you are helpless then it's better to cancel my booking.

Hence we processed the full refund from our end with your consent of INR 3358 on 1st oct. If payment has been made from a private bank, it will reflect in the same account within 2 to 3 working days and if payment has been made from public sector bank, it will take up to 7 working days for the credit to reflect in your account. However we take this as a strong feedback and would share the same with the concerned team.
We assure you of better services in the future. Please do give us a chance to serve you again.
