Hi,
I made booking for my parents traveling to Los Angeles from Bangalore on 7th May from Saudi Airline with (Ref[protected]. While doing the booking, name of father was mistakenly mention as RAFIQUE instead of REFIQUE as present in passport. While making the booking, I have shared the passport copy also post which they shared me a mail and asked to check all detail before making the booking, although I checked all itinerary detail but didn't bother to check spelling of my passport because I never thought that yatra representative will do mistake post sharing the copy. Now I am constantly following with Yatra and requesting to change the spelling of my father in tkt and confirm on immediate basis but they didn't bother to response to my mail.

I contact airline authority but they told that its a mistake from Yatra and advice to approach us directly. I called their customer care and contact the agent who book the tkt, but they instantly asked to cancel the tkt and re-book without acknowledging their mistake. Cancelling cost per tkt is Rs 9500 + Fare difference is close to 50K because I made this booking in Mar-20th 2017 and today fare is much higher then this.

Seek your intervention for advising Yatra to acknowledge their mistake and re-issue the tkt.

If required, I can shared passport detail and all relevant communication between myself and yatra.

Special remarks in PNR won't suffice the purpose. This I have made on last Friday (21st Apr-17) when I visited Saudi Airline Bangalore office and they have added special remark in PNR.

Problem is with USA immigration as they might create trouble due to the mis-match between Passport/Visa name and Airline tkt name. Plz understand that my parents are elderly people and they might not be able to take the pain o[censored]SA immigration interrogation and being Muslim and traveling to USA, we need to take double precaution.

Request you not to take any chances and advice airline authority to change the name in Tkt or issue fresh tkt. I have taken legal opinion from our legal adviser in India and US as-well and no one is suggesting to take any chances under current circumstances.

Kindly revert on urgent basis. (enclosing passport copy of my parents which I have shared with yatra online booking team before issuing the tkt.)
