I had booked a 2 nights stay in OYO 77536 Kallari Komforts hotel using Yatra(booking screenshot attached) Booking ID[protected]. Upon reaching the hotel on 23rd of July 2022 the hotel denied me check in at 3 PM stating they don’t have the booking for me from Yatra. I contacted Yatra helpline number after that and was able to talk to a representative only by 7.30 PM in the evening. The Yatra representative did put the call on conference with OYO customer care who stated that they have booked my stay in another hotel Capital O Hotel Samanvi International which is 25 kms away from the hotel I booked in Chikamagalur(distance on google map screenshot attached).
The Yatra representative assured me that he will call back by 8.15 PM and confirm the booking or give an alternative solution but no one called neither I could reach any other Yatra representative. I was left out on road with my wife without a hotel on my 3 days vacation in Chikamagalur. Nevertheless I spent again on another booking and stayed in another hotel for one night via MakeMyTrip(booking screenshot attached).
There’s no help anymore from Yatra stating any details about change in hotel coz still they show Kattari Komforts only as my booked hotel which even the representative on the call confirmed. When I wrote mail to them, now they just reply saying I didn’t visit the hotel which they booked, but why should I travel 25 kms to another hotel which I didn’t book. I need my full money refunded ASAP. And in name of hotel booking this is a pure SCAM run by Yatra. They have screwed my 3 days vacation and I had to get back home on 24th July itself coz I couldn’t find another hotel room worth staying since prices are double on weekend here. This is a pure harassment to the customer.
