I booked two tickets from kumbakonam to chennai on 08-august-2017 11:40pm. Amount got deducted from my account. Transaction id:
P1708082342187260425933. But transaction failed while conforming the ticket.
Regarding this i have given a call to the customer care and they told your refund has been initiated will communicate the reference number soon via email.
I got an email also with reference number. Later on the next day i got an email saying that we fail to process your refund kindly send me your bank details along with your cancelled cheque.
I sent those details but i failed to send the cancelled cheque. Because cheque book is there in my native place that is around 250 km away from chennai.
Instead i sent them my latest bank statement. But they refused to process the refund with bank statement. To get cancelled cheque i have to travel 250km and spend around 1000rs.
I really don't know why they require cancelled cheque for processing refund.
