Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — Cheating the customer

K.Venugopal, Ref no:YH2615734, would like to complain regarding the things which were not fulfilled as per your itenary and the behavior of Mr.Naresh in Manali.

1. On 7th May the bus from Delhi reached Manali at 11.30 A.M.
When we contacted Mr.Naresh for vehicle for transportation to the respective hotel in Manali, he told us to arrange for ourselves as the bus came late and there were no vehicles, the vehicle which was allotted for us went away.

2. How are we responsible for the late arriving of the bus to Manali? Is it not your responsibility to provide the transportation according to the package?

3. When we reached the said hotel as directed by Mr.Naresh over phone to "Prini Palace", The hotel people said that yatra.com people didn't book rooms here.

4. When we contacted him again regarding the rooms he told to call customer care for the booking of the rooms. Is this how you people respond to the customers who already paid their package?

5. We tried for 1 and half hours to customer care then we came into contact with the customer care. Then they told us it's a different hotel by name "Solang Ski Resort" which was very far away from Manali in solang valley itself. Mr.Naresh said he doesn't know about this hotel information. We had to stay on the roads for more than 2.5 hours with kids just because of your and Mr. Naresh's irresponsible behavior.

6. Even in the itenary it was written "Prini Palace ". How can you people be so irresponsible?

7. On 7th evening as per the schedule you should take us to Manali mall road. Mr.Naresh denied that according to the itenery sent to him this program was not there. We hired a cab for ourselves which costed Rs.1500/-.
8. The whole 7th day we wasted because of your miscommunication and irresponsibility. We believed your yatra.com and expected the best but it was the WORST ever trip we had. I would rate it "0".

9. You people hided the information regarding the closure of Rohtang pass when we booked the package. Because it is closed for a long-time and waiting for the court judgment or clearance from NGT. It is your minimum responsibility to inform us regarding the same so that we can plan according in other dates. Because of your information, miscommunication and irresponsibility out trip was ruined to the core.

9. We were embarrassed on 7th at Prini Palace and the whole day was wasted because of your irresponsibility. I had faced lot of problems in that way for making me stand on the roads, even my wife and kids went through lot of mental torture at a new place without knowing what to do, whom to contact as Mr.Naresh told that to contact Helpline as he doesn't have information regarding this, this is just because of your irresponsible behavior.
10. We were the only inmates of the hotel from 8th May on wards which scares us a lot. How can your yatra.com people can be so irresponsible? We had not even slept in the night as we were the only inmates of the hotel.

11. I would like to inform you that we are planning for further action on these issues.

hotel was changed post your consent and we have updated the correct hotel details on vouchers sent on your registered email ID with us. Since, you shared the initial hotel information with Kartik, he took you to the initial hotel. Our agent had also advise you that rohtang pass is not included at the time of reconfirming the booking. We regret. However, we are unable to process the refund.

on 7th morning at 11.00 a.m we reached Manali .soon after reaching Manali we contacted the concerned yatra person, Mr.Naresh, who told us to take our own taxi as the bus was late.This bus was booked by yatra team.so, how are we responsible for the delay of the bus? since we didn't had any option, we took a taxi (our own expenses) and as directed by mr.Naresh we went to hotel prini palace.
It is mr.naresh who told us to go to hotel prini palace when we asked him. when we went to the said hotel we came to know that no rooms were booked under our names.
Again we called mr.naresh, he said as per his itenary he told it was hotel prini palace and told us to call customer care.
After trying for 1 and half an hour we came into contact with customer care people who told us that the rooms were booked in hotel solang ski.
Til then i.e., for 2hours, me along with my wife and 2 daughters we were on the roads.
This happened beacuse of miscommunication between you people and we sufferred and embarrassed in public even after such huge amount to yatra people.
According to our itenary which was mailed to us, on 7th evening we should be taken to mall road. When we called mr.Naresh regarding this he denied saying that there was no such programme at all and yatra team didnt inform this to him.
He told us to take our own cab with our own expenses if we want to go.
The behiour and attitude of mr.naresh was very bad and there was lot of miscommunication between yatra team for which we had to pay huge price.
On 8th may we were the only inmates of the hotel which literally scared us to death as the hotel was in outskirts and very far away from Manali.
I had to safe guard 3 females (my wife and 2 daughters) on 8th because we were the only inmates of the hotel.
Regarding Rohatang pass, your Agent told that it was open and thats the reason why we booked this package.
In the above comment you told that you clarified with your agent, who will tell the truth? check your recoreded phone calls regarding this.
We came to know that it is closed since 1 year and the judgement is pending in the honourable high court which may be released on 9th or 10th or even later.This information was totally hided from us.
Yatra people cheated in all the above issues.
We are respected people and because of the embarrassement and cheating caused by yatra team we had to undergo lot of mental trauma and huge amount of loss.
We believed in yatra team and as a result we lost huge amount of money, we had to pay lots of money for the taxis, we underwent lot of embarassement and lot of mental trauma which is unaccountable.
Everyone goes for vacation to relax and enjoy not to go through all these embarassments, cheating and mental torture.
If we had enjoyed the trip as per yatra team promised regarding the package i would have given excellent raings and would have thanked yatra team for giving us so much happiness. Instead we went through lot of problems at each and every step of the trip which is unpardonable.
Hence we request the Consumer Complaints Forum to do justice .
