Yatra.com — Deducted money from credit card but did not confirm flight booking | |
I have used yatra.com website to book a flight from Jeddah to Hyderabad. When completing the payment option, I submitted booking after entering credit card details. Ticket amount is deducted from credit card but yatra.com website shows an error message Address Verification failed. Now when contacted yatra.com support, they are telling that they did not receive the amount and I have to check with bank. How can a bank authorize a payment without confirmation from website. When validation of address verification is not success, why yatra.com sent credit card details to Bank. Without a confirmation from Yatra.com website, Banks can never deduct any amount from any accounts. I want to claim my ticket fare from Yatra.com and need help for the same.

Starting yesterday night from the time of booking failed, I have submitted 3 complaints under New complaints, unresolved complaints, management sections, sent email to [protected]@yatra.com, created a yatra forum post which was replied with your standard reply and also commented on my post in Yatra forums. And most surprising fact is you did not publish my comment on the forum post.
There is no response from within Yatra.com till now even when I am replying to this post here.
Also, when I made international calls to your service center but I had to wait on your phone lines more than 10 min each time and no executive is available for answering one call even at odd times like 11:30 pm in India.
Now when I have put this problem on a public complaints board you are politely responding and asking me to contact from yatra.com again? Let people know how bad you are providing service.
I have contacted Bank and found the transaction reference id. I have sent it to your support mail. This transaction is on hold for 2 days and waiting for yatra.com to claim the amount and complete my flight booking. 1 day is completed anyway and now you have 1 day left to complete this transaction and provide my booking confirmed. Otherwise the transaction will be reverted back to my credit card. I am happy to choose another booking service then to avail your services.
I expect your team to revert to my mails sent to yatra.com and provide me the confirmation on my booked ticket.
