Yatra.com — Postponement of travel | |||
Hi, I have booked an travel domestic holiday with my family (voucher no; YH1682413) with yatra.com to sikkim and darjeeling and the travel date is scheduled on May 17th, 2015. they have asked me to make the final payment on or before May4th, 2015 which i did pay on the same day. Later in the day i recieved a phone call from my brother stating he has been admitted in hospital and diagnosed of stage IV cancer and battling for life in Apollo hospital, Chennai. Immediately i called upon yatra asking them for postponement of travel or refund of the entire amount. one of the customer executive who attended stated refund is not possible but the travel can be postponed. later they asked me send a mail, which i did on 6th may, 2015. Later on 7th may, they reply they will not refund or postpone the travel. Kindly help me as iam not in a position to travel due to my brother s critical illness. Kindly do the needful.
