I selected Hotel The Great Ganga located at Kailash Gate, Muni ki reti, Rishikesh. When I selected "Show Prices", I was given three options. The lowest offer was from Yatra for Rs. 1800. I selected Yatra. This link took me to the Yatra website from within the Trip Advisor app. I went through with the booking. Then I went to the hotel and showed the booking voucher. It is then that I realised that Yatra had booked me in another hotel of the same name, located in Haridwar. This happened because of a glitch in the link between Trip Advisor and Yatra. Since I was already at Rishikesh, at the hotel which I actually wanted, I decided to stay there. Since the mistake happened because of a Trip Advisor - Yatra.com linkage problem, I requested Yatra to please cancel the booking and refund my booking amount. I have made a phone call about this to Yatra. I spoke to Ms. Rajni Sharma. The issue remains unresolved. B. R.
