I am a 55 year old indian citizen and i am a very small technology professional and earn by way of technical consultancy.

There will be lacs of people like me who might be waiting for their hard earned money held by cpc bangalore.

My itr financial year 2016-17 has still not been processed and i am waiting for refund of my hard earned money amounting to rs. 1, 02, 000.

It is two years now. As tally, my tds deductor deducted 243620 under section 194c which i included in 194j which account for all of my income. Around 6 months back, my deductor corrected this mistake and booked income of 243620 under 194j as rectification. But income tax authorities despite various grievances raised by be is not responding to this till yet.

Even the return of fy 2017-18 is still not processed.

This raises some fundamental questions in my mind.

1. Are we as tax payers are the servant of income tax department?

2. Is there any acountability for their delayed actions?

3. Do we have to struggle for our own hard earned money?

4. Is there any timeframe for making a decision for cpc banalooroo?

I am a small time earner and can not afford fees of ca or lawyer. My only hope lies wit media.
