ABB Ltd — Substandard quality of the service from Mahindra and the substandard quality of the KUV 100 car

I brought a KUV100 vehicle from ERAM Motors dealer in palakkad kerala in April 2016. The car met with an accident in Bangalore at less than 40km. When I took the car to the nearest Mahindra showroom in Peenya (India Garage) workshop, they were to repair the car. I received an unbelievable amount of Rs. 6.62 lakhs for the car.

The car has already gone to the showroom 6 times in the last 1 year of which 3 were for manufacturing defects in the car. The substandard quality of the car is clearly visible with the number of times I have had to visit the Workshops. Now I realize that I was given a very substandard car that has almost no quality test done.

I was also promised offers through the Top Gear club. i have not been able to avail those offers too due to the negligence of the Mahindra staff who did not activate the coupons for 7 months. Upon repeated complaints and escalation from my side to the Area Marketing Manager, this was given to me. I have not been able to use them as the coupon expired in the next 3 months. All this effort of mine was useless and have not received any help on it. There is not value in being a customer of Mahindra.

National Insurance was proposed and given to me by Mahindra. After repeated attempts, they are yet to confirm if my car will be repaired or will it be a total loss. This is unacceptable after repeated reminders in the last 2 months. Its ready been a month and this is not acceptable. I have never received any support from Mahindra nor the dealership. Mahindra and the dealers have only tried to cheat me as they request for 2% of estimated amount for the car and also the parking rent at Rs. 250 per day. This is extremely high and I am losing money by the days as there is delay. Eventhough, these should be part of the insurance claim, these are not available.

I have tried to contact Mahindra almost 20 times in the last 2 months trying to talk to a Mahindra personnel. They have avoided me directly and have never been able to talk to them.

I request senior help as beyond this, I have the only option of going o consumer court.
