Abp Weddings — Refund of money

Dear Sir,

Though it is a large mail, request you to go through the details.

This is to inform you that I have registered my brother’s name in ABP Matrimonial on 14th of September
’22 through online payment of an amount or Rs.12000.00/- (Rs. Twelve Thousand Only, 09.09.2022/Axis
Bank) which is termed as ‘Executive’ offer from ABP.
In view of the above, one Mr.Bubai Das from ABP Matrimonial introduced himself who is dealing my
brother’s case and acted as Relationship Manager. The registration was done probably from RaniKuthi
branch, Kolkata where Mr.Bubai is available.
Please note the following details as undermentioned.
1] Name of my brother whose name is registered: RAJIB CHOUDHURY
2] ABP registration number : AW33672295
To start with, before enrollment, Mr.Bubai had promised us to find out suitable bride as per our
requirement. He had promised us a number of offers which did not materialized till date. Age limitation
& preferable locations of bride were clearly explained to him repeatedly through phone and by person
who met him but was not followed at all. Finally, after repeated instruction to increase the age
limitation of brides, he forwarded some [3] photographs on 6th Dec.’23 in a very casual manner. One of
my friend met him twice personally and requested him to do his job sincerely and reminded of his
promises. I have to chase him through WhatsApp or on making phone calls against which he used to
forward some snaps pretty delaying which are already found in general open profiles and can also be
viewed on ‘search profile’ . Even he didn’t bothered to give me any feedback from the very beginning
related to the shortlisted profile of the brides re-sent to him. Whether they are agreeing or not
...nothing is being intimated or communicated from his end. Once I called him on phone and both had a
heated argument regarding his irresponsibility and fake promises. He started shouting, misbehaved and
told that he is NOT engaged with my brother’s profile only ! He has NOT taken any initiatives so far
from his end to shuffle profiles sincerely……….repeated reminders are given from our end….still he kept
silent. Once he was in a long leave sometime during puja and again when he was physically unwell. On
these two occasions, he didn’t even worked out for my brother but went on saying that these days will
be counted and extended.[Validity of membership will be extended]. On chasing several times regarding
feedbacks from selected bride’s end, he responded in WhatsApp as ‘Not interested..due to less
income’…..that’s all…No more initiatives are being taken from his end. One more thing is that, in
maximum cases, he seldom attended my phone calls. Instead of attending my phone, he used to disconnect
immediately and send a message as “ Call you back soon” etc. but didn’t bothered to call me back. The
fact is, as a guardian of my brother, I am posted far outside of West Bengal against which he has taken
an advantage of this. Still, I have my friends, lot of influential relatives etc. there at Kolkata to
fight against such type of misconduct and misdoings from ABP Matrimonial’s end.

What ‘Managerial’/’Executive’ service do ABP provides after digesting a good amount of INR 12000 ? Is
this the example of a ‘Managerial’ service provided by ABP Matrimonials? What special ‘Executive’
initiatives ABP provides to link with bride’s family? What extra initiatives are being taken against
INR 12000? Why empty promises are being given to the customers before the payment? I have each and
every interaction proof with Mr.Bubai Das in my WhatsApp….the dates, the responses he has
given..everything. Last he interacted me on sending 3 profiles on 6th December’’22…………..I had selected
profiles and forwarded to him….today is 5th January….no responses, no more interactions.. nothing ! One
month gone without any information or any interactions from his end. So, by this way ABP Matrimonial
will complete the tenure for membership……….A fantastic ‘’Managerial’’ service is being provided from
your ‘competent’ person..! Is this not fraud or fake services provided from your end? Is this our
responsibility to make repeated calls to take feedback?
Finally…I want my INR 12000/- to be returned back with immediate effect or else, I have no other option
but to take serious legal actions/file complain to consumer care against this fellow or ABP
Matrimonial.
Looking forward for an intervention from your end in order to return the money back with immediate
effect.

NOTE : If required, it will be better if you can call in these abovementioned numbers after 7.00 PM as
everybody is busy in office jobs.

Nothing has been resolved yet...This is for your confirmation once more... We just need our money back and no further options / promises at your end will be trusted / entertained by us anymore !!!
Pl don't test our patience any more...We are still refraining ourselves from negative publicity in the form of reviews in social media platforms or consumer court but plz dont force us to do the same.

They are now sending me a meagre amount of money after all sorts of deductions saying that they will deduct tax, gst, number of profile visits but are not considering the lack of services from their side. I want my full 12000/- back. I had even invested 4500/- initially but that too went in vain. After repeated calls from their agents to put faith and trust once more on them, I had tried and took chance once more with this executive package but again I was cheated as narrated above. Plz help
