Requested for account name change on my wife's name because of address proof reason as we moved to a new house. This need to be provided as a proof of address for an urgent personal loan.
raised the request on 13th Oct for account name change and provided all the document proofs and photographs. the representative gave me an update that the issue will be resolved by 14th Oct 4 PM.
on 14th an email came saying that the ETA of the issue is 16th Oct.
on 17th after lot of calls made to the customer service, received a call asking for documents which I have submitted while raising the request.
In one of the call to the customer care on 17th, I am being put on hold for 30 min by the representative when I asked him to connect to his lead if he doesnt have the information. He said it will take 72 hours more to resolve this issue as he says "Work in progress". He is not sure what work has been completed and what work is in progress.
He said he will not connect to the lead. I doubt if there is a team lead on the floor at that time. he kept silent/muted and not responded. waited for me to cut the call.
I have not seen any more worse customer care than this in my life time.
I now decided to leave ACT (after my 10 years as a customer)
