I had booked a property via Agoda for my holiday in Shimla between 15-17th April. Agoda gave booking confirmation and charged 13500 for 2 night stay. I called the property on 14th April for some personal request and was shocked to hear that this property was closed from PAST 3 years. It’s unimaginable that Agoda doesn’t know about this from past 3 years and charged me unnecessary. On top of this, I asked them to give me alternate accommodation, but even after wasting my 3 hours on 14th April (day before the travel), they didn’t book anything and I was forced to book another hotel at double the cost because of last min booking surge in prices. I want my original money of 13000 fully refunded as well as I would like to claim the full 25000 also as loss from Agoda. Was this information helpful? |
