I am writing to log a formal complaint against Agoda for deceptive pricing and hidden charges. I have been cheated out of my money and Agoda customer service has gone completely silent on this issue. Booking Details: Booking ID: [protected] Agoda Quoted Price: 4, 293, 000 VND Amount Charged by Property: 4, 507, 000 VND The Issue: At the time of booking, Agoda explicitly confirmed that the total cost would be 4, 293, 000 VND and I provided my card details accordingly. However, Agoda suddenly changed the terms, stating that the property would collect the payment directly. The property then went ahead and charged me 4, 507, 000 VND, claiming the extra 214, 000 VND was for "bank charges." This is a direct violation of the price guarantee shown during checkout. I have booked hotels via other travel platforms using the exact same card, and they always deduct the precise amount shown without any hidden fees. Only Agoda has facilitated this overcharging. I have already raised a complaint with Agoda support, but they are remaining completely silent and refusing to provide an update or a refund for the excess amount. I demand that Agoda takes responsibility for this misrepresentation, honors its initial quote, and refunds the overcharged amount immediately.
