Respected sir,
I am a resident of vadodara, staying on harni road, adjacent to the 'green' airport of vadodara (The new and 'supposedly' eco-friendly terminal). Have been a witness to the evolving and developing airport.
But seems the development has costed all o[censored]s the 'greens' after all. Firstly, the construction of the airport took a toll on the pollution in the area for almost 3-4 years. And like i said, we stay just adjacent to the airport.
But now the situation instead of getting better has worsened.
'senseless' authorities create level of nuisance this letter cannot explain. Welding or framing activities are carried out exactly near and on the way of the entry gate of the airport. This causes immense noise pollution and ofcourse, the level of air pollution (As they do it in open air without any enclosure) cannot be imagined.
I am writing this to you as a person who has been complaining regarding this 'not so green' activity at the 'green' airport of vadodara since almost 3-4 months, but no action is taken yet. Infact, we are barred even from approaching the vadodara airport director.

It is really saddening with the way the authorities function. I see the situation of delhi, it saddens me but what saddens me more is the fact that micro level steps are overridden which ultimately lead to macro level issues.
I was proud of vadodara being a green city, having the first 'green airport' till 3-4 years back. I only feel pity now for all the ruthless ways, your own constituency is adapting to.
I would appreciate if your authorities look into the matter.
