Customs in Chennai airport

I came to visit India for holiday from London, my 2 suitcase went missing,

Chennai customs asked me fill a form and i have mention what was in the bag as i have the receipt for all my item in that bag and in that form it asked how much is worth inside the bag so i added up and wrote the amount of Rs 15000 because it does have perfume and and lot of chocolates does have 3 nike shoe . worth more than £320 which more than Rs...

A group of two three men stand outside the Jorhat airport and charge parking fees at the time of exit even when you simply enter for 1-2 mins to pick up a passenger who has just landed. No receipt is cut at the time of entering the airport and while exiting even if we try to explain that we haven't parked we simply entered to pick up a passenger they don't let us pass without paying the parking fees. They charged us Rs. 35 which is the rate specified for 4 wheelers who park beyond 30 mins whereas we simply entered in an auto for two mins to collect a passenger. They were doing this illegal practice with every vehicle that was leaving the airport 2 clock when the Indigo flight from Kolkata had landed.There is no entry fes specified by AAI but this mafia is illegaly charging parking fees as entry fees. The police that stand near the gate let these men collect the fees. This is clear extortion.

Hope this matter is looked into by AAI and proper measures are put in place at Jorhat airport.

    On 3rd of June, I encountered on the Indigo flight at Mumbai airport at 5:55 AM. My luggage was checked in and upon arrival at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi airport (Guwahati), my luggage was not seen. At the top of my suitcase, Faruque A. Khan was written.
    I have sent several complaints but i haven't received any response. Kindly look into the matter as it contains very important documents.

      My name is Lakshya Tiwari. I got a call from airport authorities regarding job at (DEVI AHILYABAI HOLKAR
      INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT), AIRPORT RD, INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH,
      452005., in back office. For the first time I was asked to pay 2, 500/- rupees which I paid. Then I received an offer Letter on mail and was asked to pay 9, 740/- rupees quoted as "Note- Training Security & Accommodation Amount With GST
      9, 740/- (It’s refundable amount during training period)." On payment of this amount I received a mail of training letter.Later that morning I received a mail named as 'uniform letter' demanding amount for uniform 18550/- rupees. I didn't pay this amount and called that person and he said I will not get a refund if I am not going to pay that amount.

        This is incident which happened in Coimbatore airport, Tamilnadu.
        From entrance to flight departure, all employees involved of North Indians mainly people from Hindi based.
        From entrance, he is asking name in Hindi, asking us to keep boarding pass in Hindi.
        But most o[censored]s in que was not understood the conversation.
        Then what is the purpose of having discussion.
        In Security check also, they are asking In Hindi.
        Without understanding what is purpose of of simply having discussion.
        This is main thing which has to be discussed and addressed.
        If anyone working in respective State, they should learn their language and use it.
        It is not necessary for everyone to know Hindi and English as mandatory, all can travel with use of their mother tongue also.
        So the each language should be given equal respect and priority.
        What if person travels without knowing Hindi and English as in flight also announcement is in that language only.

        Kindly look into this and give respect to everyone who is traveling.

        Kindly make announcement in flights atleast travel origin and destination languages..

        As a government it should be given importance to everyone.a

                  I have call from airport authority of India the number was [protected] firstly he said your resume is shortlisted for airline job, then again he called me and said you have to pay 1500 for from and it was totally refundable with 24 hours again he called me and tell me to pay 6890 for uniform and said it was totally refundable with 48 hours and then again he called me and said now you have to pay 21900 for offer letter within 5 min it was totally refundable in 5min and this last Process again he called me and said now you have to pay 38900 for insurance policy its was the last process and the refund amount transferred in 2 min at last then don't refund my all amount and the account details is *NAME - AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF INDIA*

I had a standard ribbon type tape measure (non metallic) which I need for my work as an engineer. The security confiscated the item saying it now falls under restricted items. Since then I have checked everywhere, nowhere is a ribbon type measuring tape enlisted as a restricted item. This was plain harassment...

                    Illegal parking charges at LBSI airport varanasi

                    I am a doctor by profession,
                    I would like to bring to your notice the illegal parking charges collected at LBSI airport varanasi, I had visited airport on 30th March 2022, at 11.54 am and exited the premises at 12.02pm, i was charged 60rs.on asking for payment receipt at the exit for parking charges I was told to pay 500 rupees, as I have to return back within 7mins of entering the premises, I could not understand...

                    A very unpleasant & unprofessional experience during my travel Hyderabad to Indore on 31/03/2022.
                    Me& my husband booked our Indigo airlines flight 6E 621 departure 6.45 evening Hyderabad landing indore 8.00.PNR NKJUUS
                    After our routine check in, all passengers were asked to wait near the depatrure gate with no information or reason for delay of our flight.After about 30 min wait we boarded the aircraft by 7.20 p.m roughly, ready to take off.Again there was unexplained delay.Since it was more than 1 hr 5 min wait time already we enquired with the indigo crew& they informed to talk to the Hyderabad Airport ground staff as the instructions were from them not to take off.
                    Few o[censored]s passengers got out of the aircraft& checked with the ground staff & called for their manager We were informed that the flight was put on hold as 20 passengers from a connecting flight from Tirupati to Hyderabad transit travelling to indore were delayed as their tirupati flight had problem .

                    .Shocking to even think that 200+ passengers, their time, commitments, plans etc were put in hold for 20 passengers whos flight was delayed .This was totally unacceptable & showed that the senior ground staff& managers run the setup as their personal business. absolutely unacceptable behaviour.
                    They simply replied we were instructed by our senior manager not to allow take off till the passengers from tirupati reach Hyderabad & board this flight..no remose, no regret, not even a realisation that they have wasted valuable time of 200 passengers waiting inside the flight for over 1 hour
                    A very strict and effective action must be taken on this incident by the concerned authorities on Hyderabad Airport Ground staff of Hyderabad airport as this is not a technical delay but a planned& intentional delay conspired by the senior ground staff& managers.
                    Even the cabin crew of the Indigo flight were unhappy with the unwanted delay in the flight departure.
                    Every passenger boarded the flight for a reason to reach on time& finish a business deal or a personal visit, travel plans further on.No ground staff can decide on their discretion to delay a flight unusually and intentionally.
                    The Airport authorities owe explaination for this unprofessional attitude & compensate by refunding the air fare of the passengers on board Indigo 6E 621 waiting for 1hr 15 min ignorant of the real reason for delay.

                      My husband and I travelled to Abu Dhabi on 9the March. We returned to Delhi on March 14 at 4 am - after tiring overnight process. We approached the Business Class Immigration counter - there was no line up - only one person at the counter already. We were told by the staff to go through the waiting line loop. I told the staff that my husband is over 75 - we are tired being up all night and since there is no line up there was no need to walk though the lines. The staff was very rude - told us “everyone is old here”. We were shocked by his rudeness and asked again - he again insisted we walk through the lines - even though there was no one else in line. When I expressed my displeasure and asked for his name, he refused to tell me. He had hidden his ID badge into his shirt. He then walked away. I was told by another staff that he was their senior. We were then harassed at immigration - even though we had arrived in India from Canada, with OCI, just two weeks ago and left India fro Abu Dhabi just 4 days ago, we were told the computer showed another person with my husband’s name from Madhya Pradesh - a problem person! We fail to understand how my husband’s identity was confused with someone else - the Govt computer has his Canadian passport details with all the ID and photo scans and stamps of our travel history, all the records. Yet, we were kept waiting for half hour for this to get cleared. I suspect the senior staff was harassing us because we complained about his behavior. Basic human decency is all we asked for - as older seniors who were tired after staying up all night. Shame on this staff. Hope you can get us an apology for bad behavior and harassment. Thanks.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I had travelled Dubai to Bangalore [Flight - flydubai flight FZ405], on 12th Feb. This was an urgently planned journey as my father had a health issue. We had only one piece of luggage - a blue-coloured American Tourister suitcase with us. We picked up the suitcase at the airport and reached home(Marathahalli), realised it was not ours when the key combination was not working. Immediately we took an Ola and came back to the airport, where we had the most horrible experience of a lifetime.
                        The Air India Staff: Irshad was extraordinarily arrogant and rude, and he said he has received a complaint and only once we bring him back the complaint copy signed and acknowledged by the other party they can release my luggage. I spoke to the other person, Ms Rubeena, who was extremely cordial and descent. She said that she was ok to send the screenshot of the complaint letter over WhatsApp/mail, that their luggage received so that we don't have to travel to Magadi, her place to deliver the suitcase, and then back to the airport to collect ours and then back to my home. However, Irshad insisted on a hard copy, so Rubeen and myself said we could courier him. He did not agree. I informed that due to this will not be able to take my father to the hospital that day if they insist on this unnecessary step.
                        As I found him insensitive and rude, I asked for meeting his superior officer(who was on leave that day), so he brought a gentleman who has also carried the same attitude with him, "will never help a human ever in life" with him. He cited the policy that they are not allowed to release luggage without a hard copy of the other party informing receipt of the baggage. But when the other party is ready to give that as a screenshot on email/WhatsApp or hard copy on the courier and ready to accept the risk, it should have been accepted.

                        My father is a retired IAF officer who served for 35 years in Indian Air Force. So hearing to these two guys, totally not helping, and being arrogant, I told these, "I feel ashamed to call myself an Indian". So then took a taxi to the Magadi address of Rubeena(to whom we had to deliver the luggage", Total taxi fare = 7500 [ airport to her residence, then her place to airport and then back home], and it was finally 11:00 pm I reached home.

                        As I had come due to a medical issue of my father, I could not take him to the hospital that day. So also had to reschedule my return journey from Bangalore to Dubai from Thursday [17th Feb] to saturday[19th Feb][ another 1666 AED [ Roughly Rs. 33, 332].

                        Sir/Madam, I request you to investigate and take stringent action against these two employees. If this incident had happened in any other country, these two employees would have been sacked on that day itself, so this level of insensitivity and un-helping attitude is not tolerated anywhere.

                        Being a "retired IAF officer who served for 35 years in Indian Air Force" does not give other preferences than in IAF service hostels, IAF restaurants (dining rooms), discounts of the domestic air carriers and domestic railway operators, if the quota of reserved seats for the route is vacant.

                        There is no evidence of the 12 Feb FZ405 trip. So, the relations between the Author, from one hand, and company of non qualified adviser Ms. Rubeen, from the other hand, are not bound the 12 Feb FZ405 trip, which could be completed by the Flydubai crew at Bengaluru.

                          I’m from Hyderabad Iam experiencing worst service from pushpak airport bus
                          Drivers are not maintaining the rules they don’t stop at the particular bus points which allocated for the Pushpak bus I have to come early to get the bus but when waited for hours and still they don’t stop at the pick up point what the use of paying (2600 rs )for the bus which has worst service also if we called to their superior they blame us for not standing outside of the bus stand people who works in airport have to suffer this everyday and waste their money we have to take cab because of their lack of work I come from far place to work here that’s why I prefer Pushpak bus

                          Airports Authority of India is not responsible for the control of the traffic rules (regulations) at the airports of India directly.

                          It is not clear, who are "they", which "rules", who is an operator of the bus company from the text.

                          The complaint on the infrigement of the India''s traffic rules shall be submitted to the owner of the road, to the nearest police office at the Hyderabad airport in the case of a road accident or proved infrigemenet of the India''s traffic rules by the owner of the road, or by the driver, or by owner of the scheduled or non scheduled road vehicle.

                          The passport or Indian aadhaar of the Indian national or of foreigner shall be presented in the police office during the complaining. The pedestrian, further, shall describe a mean of the vehicle by its state number. If the owner of the vehilcle does not show its registration number during the traffic on the public roads at the Hyderabad airport, such vehicle can be detained for the time necessary for the final order of the investigation, or such vehicle can be destroyed, if the owner does not produce a document of the origin of such public vehicle, which was detained for the investigation (F.I.R) against the Indian or foreign national or immigrant at the Hyderabad airport.

                            Today 19/01/2022 my brother flight from delhi to Sharjah he reached in delhi airport afternoon and they took a crona test and his report was negative but after six hours they took again test and that report was positive how's is possible. Not only my brother report all member of same flight was crona positive. My brother said plz test again because he was fit but they can't do it. Then they said you may leave from airport. But after he came out and they test again from outside and his report was negative. It means airport staf[censored]sed fake report to cancel the flights. I want to take a action on all staff who are working in crona test department. I want my all money back i know how i collect the money to purchase a flight tickets.

                            There is no evidence that Airports Authority of India was involved anyhow in the test, where the anonymous report resulted the cancellation o[censored]nspecified flight of the unspecified carrier from Delhi to Sharjah, which damaged the author or his brother .

                            The complaint on the irregularity of Airports Authority of India shall be addressed by the person, who suffered a kind of injury, to the director of Airports Authority of India.

                            The director of Airports Authority of India shall reply to the complaint of their user, if the user of the Airports Authority of India defined his or her or their direct interest in the claim, within 21 or 30 days, if I remember the length of the examination correctly, to the address of the user and by the same mean of the telecommunication or by the regular post.

                            The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or the District Collector of the residing place of the user investigate the complaints of the users, which suffered a kind of loss from unfair trading practices or from the late decision of the service provider, deliver their decision to the user within 21 days, if the suffering user complied with simple regulatory provisions, was not deaf, was not late on his or her or their fault.

                              Suspend MR. Rahul Kumar. Wasting the time of public that are getting to their flight. Wants to chit chat with passengers he wishes to and argues with lady travellers. Impolite and improper behaviour with women. This is at Bangalore International Airport, Domestic baggage/security check section.

                              It is not clear who was Mr. Rahul Kumar and what was a formal relation between the author and Mr. Rahul Kumar during his office at Domestic baggage/security check section.

                              Airports Authority of India is not the operator of Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru.

                              The complaint regarding the violation of the airport rules or rights of the passenger by a defined staff member can be addressed to the operator Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru - Fairfax India Holdings or
                              to the chief officer on duty at Kempegowda International of ministry of defense, who was deployed to Karnataka state.
                              If such chief officer on duty was absent, the compliant on the irregularities and violations of personal freedoms, can be submitted at the nearest head quarters of Indian army at Bengaluru city, addressed to the (deputy) chief of staff of the (head quarters of) ministry of defense of for the investigation and the compliance with the rules and the ordinance.

                              The reply of the officer on the investigation shall be given to the Indian national within 30 days.
                              The evidence of the Indian national is passport, addhaar, driving licence, police bedge in vast majority of the cases.
