I had booked 4 airtickets on goair flight from jaipur to mumbai on 29th august 2018. However, i received an sms from the airline on 27th oct 2018 that the flight was cancelled & they would process the full refund within 48 hrs.
Since the tickets were booked through akbar, they asked me to follow up with akbar. I have been following up with them since 31st oct 2018 till date.
Initially they said there was some technical issue because of which they could not process the refund to my card account and asked me to share my bank details which i did immediately. After this, they said they needed the chq image. As i was travelling, i could not submit it as i was not carrying my chq book. Instead i shared the details of my wife's account on 13th nov 2018 along with the chq image. Since then, i have been following up with akbar till date. Meanwhile, just to validate, i confirmed from the airline that they had processed the full refund on 2nd nov 2018 itself.
Now again they are saying there is some technical issue & they have processed my refund by chq on 16th nov 2018. If this is so, then the refund should have been credited to my account by now as today is the 3rd day. Chq gets cleared on 2nd day evening. This proves that akbar travels is lying and cheating.
The above events very clearly show the lethargic, incompetent and fraudulent approach of akbar travels. They are just using the customer money and refunding in their own sweet time despite receiving the money from airlines.
