Refund for cancelled flight

I booked return ticket by akbar travels for Gulfair airlines .Flight got cancelled for both sides.trip dates were 05 March 2026 and 26 March (return).Return flight was booked form qassim to new delhi.From 5 march i am continuously calling the but everytime its busy and dropped them couples of emails.
after many emails they replied it takes around 30-45 days for refund
the second response after so many days refunds takes around...

I booked a flight from Al Ain to Kozhikode through Akbar Travels (Booking Ref: AK[protected], PNR: C2FDUV) for 13 March 2026.

The flight was cancelled by the airline (Air India Express), and I received official confirmation that the refund was processed on 30 March 2026.

Despite this, Akbar Travels has not refunded my amount of AED 820. I have sent several emails and attempted to contact customer support multiple...

Ticket - Refund

As confirmed by the airline, a full refund has already been processed to your agency on 24/03/2026 and 26/03/2026. The refund has not been passed on to me, and multiple follow-ups from my side with Akbar Travels have been ignored without any proper response. My reference no. is QA[protected] for your further action. If there is any response within 48 hrs, I will escalate legal procedures....

Refund for airline cancelled ticket

Booking ref: AK[protected], flight was cancelled by airlines and the status shown in airline website was refund initiated. But still travels has not intimated anything and still the ticket status shows confirmed. I was trying to reach the travels through phone for the past 3 days. but it was busy for all the day whenever i call. I sent mails, but no responses came from their end. How to get the refund amount?...

Please be informed that I got a worst experience dealt with one o[censored] your representative as I need to travel tomorrow early morning and still my visa not provided since 5 days from my application and payment to you.

Yesterday your representative confirmed to deliver the visa by today and even today afternoon also he promised the same to me and now he given your email to escalate the issue is not at all acceptable.

I am asking the visa application receipt and he skipped many times to provide the same seems delayed process from your end.

Now he promised that I will get the visa by tomorrow and to change my ticket I need to pay RS 20000/- plus due to the delay occurred from your end
please inform us who will pay for the same?
Visa not applied after 5 days.

    One of the executives mislead regarding uae transit visa. This visa which will be done by airlines without any charge, akbar travels charged 8400 inr . Misguided a lot. I was told that this visa will not be done free of cost but which was done. As I told like that I paid them . And visa got rejected. When I was known about this I called them and asked but they were not accepting and not ok to refund.

      I have applied for UAE visa 60 days via akbartravels online on 19/02/2024 till today no update . At least they are not providing reference number to track application status . Online team is not responding and always telling visa is under process it's been more than 15 days I applied .. even I lost my travel ticket because of your online team..
      I want my visa application status or else I will make police complaint regarding mumbai online office

      For UAE visa .. after 15 days they told me visa was rejected. When ask for rejection letter sent by embassy they are not providing. Even if ask for acknowledgement as visa filed they are not providing

      Akbar travels online team mumbai is full fraud they are not providing any proof of visa applied and proof of visa rejection they are looting money online team ( Saima sayyad, rahim, sushanth team lead ) these guys threatening me and not sending reference number of my application and even not sending rejection letter received from embassy, if lost 16999/- rs of visa .         New Agent Id Activation Cancellation request for irctc and akbar portal( Ph No- 9748410896)

        I am really very disappointed about the sales team coordination for the new agent id. I paid 2399/- for a new agent id sales person said ac class commission is Rs, upto 40 rs. and sl class upto 20 rs, and force me to pay the amount on an immediate basis otherwise i am not able to get the id within 24 hrs. That's Why i paid immediately without any checking further, but after 24 hrs when i not get my agent it i called customer care today then...

        Public Interest Litigation case against Akbar Travels

        I had enquired for UAE visa with Akbar Travels, they reached out to me on whatsapp and asked me for a couple documents and collected money (visa fee) via a payment link. The following day I had to call them and ask them for status and they replied the visa has been applied. They didnt provide any application reference id or an conformation email, and in fact no proof that they have actually applied visa for me. I read online on google reviews...

        Raised many complaints for refund issues and insurance platform not working issues. Ritesh kangokar from the customer support team nevers takes the emails serious and never responds to the emails on time.

        No proper resolution was given for any of my issues so far.

        Even for a simple refund of 1000 Rs. takes minimum 30 days and never got proper refund immediately.

        He is mentally harassing me. I have all the email evidence with me. I need a compensation as well on this harassment. If not, I am going to give a legal complaint on this person as well as file a fraud complaint on Akbar travels for this harassment and very poor customer service.

        Waiting for a immediate resolution.

        I have all the evidence regarding his CUSTOMER service. I need to give a feedback about his work nature. He never works or responds for any emails. I don't have an agent sales person assigned too. Totally a ### CUSTOMER service.
        Let me know if you would like to go legally on this issue. I am fine with it.

        Because Akbar travels seems like frauds. Only looking for money and no proper CUSTOMER service provided.

        There is no action and there is no HELP also on this complaint. Using these also to raise a legal fraud complaint on this issue. Shall we go legally? Let me know that. Ritesh is a ### person who harasses CUSTOMERs in a bad manner.
        So better to take it legally. What do you say?

        PEOPLE STOP USING THIS FRAUD COMPANY AKBAR TRAVELS. THEY JUST NEED YOUR MONEY AND THEY NEVER PROVIDE ANY PROPER CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THEY JUST HARASS YOU IF YOU ASK FOR ANY SUPPORT.

        SO BEWARE AND AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY.

          Respected sir/Madam . . .

          Myself Shejeena working in Saudi Arabia as staff nurse I Approached Akbar travels in Kanjirappally branch(kottayam dist) for my sister visa stamping on April first week with full documents and 14000rs money .after one week I heared about new update regarding mandatory biometric .So contacted them via phone accordingly he said they will book appointment and return the remaining money .
          The first appointment they done with wrong details of applicant (Instead of writing my sister name they write the sponsor name ). We ask them to change the appointment with correct details they agree and done new appointment . they return 13800 rs money and took 200 rs as their service charge . We noticed they filled visa type as ESCORT . contacted them regarding the issue as she mentioned it came by its own not choose by here self. she called us and said there is editing option in VFS center after she contacted VFS center. so we went to VFS office on scheduled appointment on 22/06/2023. but they said they cannot edited anything in the appointment as already entered .The visa requested is family visit visa for one year and the application is written ESCORT visa . so they advised us come with new appointment . we tried to called Akbar travels several times but they did not attended the call. final a female staff who attended the call and she said cannot do anything and she shout at to my sister.

          I approach before different branch of akbar travels with good experience but this time is not accepted at all.

          Please review my complaint and do the needful .

            I had contacted their telephone support number on 4th May 2023 and enquired for a Singapore Visa. At that time I was informed that the Visa can be applied only 30 days before my travel date and my travel date is 6th June 2023 so I can apply only on 8th May 2023. But they told me that you can make the payment now and they will apply 30 days before my travel date so I made the payment immediately hoping that they will apply for my Visa on 8th May 2023 and I will get my documents back within 7-10 days if there is no issues from the consulate. I had sent all documents including my original passport on 5th May 2023 and I got the confirmation mail from them saying that the documents was delivered on 6th May 2023. Then on 9th May 2023 I enquired about the status of application and I got a reply that it’s already applied. Again on 12th May 2023 I mailed to check the status of my application and to get application reference number. I got a reply that it’s still processing at the consulate and the application reference number will be generated only on 25th May 2023. Visa application reference number is generated on the acknowledge page when a visa is successfully submitted. So it means that they have not applied for my Visa and they will be applying for the same only on 25th May 2023. This is completely cheating, they should have informed me earlier that they will be applying only on 25th May before taking the payment and sending my original passport and documents, then I would have tried any another method. Now when I contacted them again they are like it’s very rush at the consulate so they have not submitted my application and I don’t have to worry I will get my visa before my departure. It’s like a FRAUD COMPANY they keep on changing their statements. Very pathetic experience

              Not received Flight Tickets

              I had booked a ticket from NDLS-PATNA on an Indigo flight (6E-5126) on 14th May 2023 for RADHESHYAM YADAV (shyam.[protected]@gmail.com). The payment has been completed (UPI Transaction ID[protected] but the ticket has not been booked yet. Kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible....

              Hello,

              I have applied to UAE visa along with my mother on April 5, 2023 in Hyderabad branch of Akbar Travels located in Himayatnagar. Name - Anusha Agnoor and Uma Agnoor. Email - [protected]@pitt.edu/ ph no - [protected]

              My mom has 10 yrs valid US visa. None of the agents asked about the US visa and Shekhar, Visa consultant - who handled our visa scanned the front and back of our passports in the office and might have noticed the US visa. He still didn't not ask about it. I also have valid US visa but currently expired. How come he never asked us about the US visa?

              He is a senior handling the visas and might have handled lot o[censored]AE visas in the past. He is very well aware of visa on arrival policy in UAE. How come he never asked us if we have any other valid visa on our passports? This should be the 1st question when someone wants to apply for VISA.

              My mom would have been eligible for visa on arrival in Dubai and we would have just paid 100 AED (INR 2, 300) for 14 days tour instead of Rs. 8, 100 to Akbar travels. Your agents are telling us that we never mentioned about the US visa.

              Isn't it your consultants duty to ask all questions to the customer before even applying for the visa? It is your travel consultants responsibility to guide us and suggest us so that we can trust your company once again. One of your agent also asked us to take covid testing which is again wrong information when dubai/abu dhabi has waived off the covid testing requirements.

              Please contact SHEKHAR from Akbar Travels - HYD BRANCH who handled our visa and please refund us the remaining amount (approx. Rs. 6000) as my mom would have been eligible for visa on arrival in UAE.

              As a travel company, you need to inquire past travels and other valid visas on customers passport before applying for visas to other countries. As travelers, we might not know everything and hence we rely on companies like yours. Expecting us to disclose all information even before being asked by your travel consultants is absolutely rubbish and non sense.

              We came to know about this information after arriving in DUBAI. I need an answer and also solution to this problem immediately. Kindly speak with SHEKHAR and also refund my money. Visas were emailed to us from email id - visa.[protected]@akbartravels.in on April 6, 2023 at 6:35 PM.

                The telephone nos given by you does not exist. You are not sharing your mobile number. How do i contact you. It is more then a month since I paid 2700/- for taking agency. After taking money all of you are quiet and dont reply. I want the irctc regn done in my sin's name, since you give a reason that my pan card is already registered with railways.
                I am not able to book flight tickets, visa or other services through the app I have downloaded. Outright cheating you are doing by collecting 2700/- from individuals and not helping them to earn their money.
                Pl call or write to me immediately.

                  I have written several times to akbar travels. I am not getting any reply properly. They have taken Rs 2700/- and offered me agency. It now one month, and I am not able to earn a single rupee. The app downloaded is most useless. I have lost 3 customers who wanted international travel tickets, visa and other services. No one is of any help at the company. All nos given are false, or does not exist. They are cheating by collecting 2700/- from gullible people and hide behind servers and portals, which common man cannot access. Even today I have written a mail, copy of which is given below.

                    I am a agent tof akbar travels . When i booked train ticket the commision is non ac rs 20 and ac rs 40. When we booked ticket company also deduct money from my commision company told half commision is for company plus gst. If we recived rs 4o for ac train booking per pnr company give me only rs 16 after deducted gst and half commision. Icontact irctc they told me no deduction from ur commision then why akbar tarvel deduct
