Akbar Travels — Ticket Refunds | |||||
Mr. Anil Rander had booked tickets for sector Jaipur – Mumbai, travel date 4th December 2016 for self and his family in the month of Oct 2016 (Oct 6th 2016 )thro his Online booking portal . wherein we were neither informed about the NON REFUNDABLE TICKET STATUS while booking, nor were we informed about the CANCELLATION POLICY Mr. Anil Rander had sent an intimation via email well in advance from the date and time of travel (nearly 26 hours in advance) for cancellation of the said tickets and also requesting refund. Till today we have been asking Akbar Travels executives, communicating thro phone and emails asking them to provide us the refund / cancellation charges applied/, to which they always provide us with an answer which is irrelevant….. How can a cancellation charge exceed the total cost of the ticket ? Kindly look in to the matter above and request you provide us with an detail explanation as to which we can understand the logic, as to cancellation exceeding the total cost . Kindly note the above transaction even though does not pertain to direct involvement of Jet Airways, however somewhere down the line it will affect the business and reputation, as due to miscommunication and misguiding from the agent will surely hamper the airline business .
