20 days have passed since my first complaint but i have not received any response from the company. Still awiaitng my refund of Rs. 943/- debited from my bank account in authorised manner on 15/5/23

    Ten days have passed but neither i have been contacted nor any refund credited to my bank account.
    Amar Chitra Katha customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    Even the consumer forum is not helping in resolving my complaint and getting my refund back

      Though i had subscribed for free subscription of amar chitra katha for a period of 6months after 6months my bank account was debited for Rs. 943/- on 15/5/23 as renewal of subscription without my knowledge.

      At the time of subscription by default auto renew option was selected by default but while renewal my consent for debiting the said amount of Rs. 943/- was not taken.

      I had got this subscription through Times Prime membership and this membership was taken by paying online through debit card. with this membership i got amar chitra katha membership free for which i had not entered any card details hence they cannot debit any amount for their membership from my bank account which is daylight robbery.

      I tried sending mails to amar chitra katha but all mails bounced back. Also tried calling many numbers but some are not working and few have incoming barred.

      Hence i request the consumer forum to look into my matter and help me with the refund of Rs. 943/- back into my account at the earliest.

        Hi

        I subscribed to the ACK app in Sept'22 with mobile no.[protected] and email id: [protected]@gmail.com.

        However, after subscribing and registering for the auto renewal, I tried to cancel the auto renewal.

        But, I did not find any option on its app, however, i sent emails to company on 18.09.2022 & 20.09.2022 at [protected]@ack-media.com asking for the same. They didn't respond. Copy of the email sent to company is attached for reference. Despite my emails, company debited my credit card with Rs. 1, 178.82 on 20.03.2023. After this, I again sent email on 20.03.2023 requesting for refund. I have not received any response from company till date.

        In these circumstances, company is requested to refund my amount as I sent the email to you on 18.09.2022 & 20.09.2022 to which they did not respond.

        Pls do the needful.

            I opted for 3month subscription and made the payment on Mar 23rd.
            However after payment in mobile app, it still says you need to subscribe.
            Please check the issue. I have already mail the team with the payment screenshot.

              Bought the ACK lifetime membership on 9th Dec 2022 from grabon and have received the receipt from email.
              But till now no communication from ACK team neither the membership got activated.
              Have sent them numerous emails but no response.

                    I have subscribed for an yearly subscription on the ack comics app on my iphone. The payment has gone through, it’s showing that I have subscribed successfully. But I cannot get access to the content the app still. I tried calling the customer numbers available on their website but none of them go through. I have emailed them multiple times but have not received a reply yet. Kindly help me try to clear the issue.

                        They Promised their ENTIRE MYTHOLOGY single issue stories in their “The Complete Mythology Collection Pack”. But after purchase many stories are missing. They are outright lying about their product in every channel of sale. I have screenshots & website advertisement to prove it.

                          I paid INR 4500 for the annual subscription(Print Copies) of National Geographic Magazine in November 2021--Subscription Number 176063.
                          After a delayed delivery of the December issue, Amar Chitra Katha told me that they "will no longer be able to distribute the promised print subscription copies for National Geographic Magazine starting January 2022". This email reached in May 2022 that too only after I asked the company about the non-delivery of the magazines- from January 2022 to May 2022.

                          The email said in "in lieu of the print copies of NGM, the company would offer me a digital subscription of 12 months to our National Geographic Traveller India App"

                          To this email, I replied that I wanted the subscription amount to be refunded as I was not interested in anything else other than NGM.

                          Replying to my email the company promised to refund the amount and asked me to share my bank account details. I did that. This was in the third week of May 2022. I was promised I would receive my amount within 20-25 working days. But it has been almost two months; I have not received my amount yet. In the last week of June, they told me I would get it in the Ist week of July. In the first week of July I was told I would get it within two weeks. And yesterday, I was told it would take two more weeks.

                          I want the company to return my money. I do not understand rather believe that such a renowned company can do this to a customer for having reposed a lot in them.

                              Dear Sir, I wanted to purchase an assorted comics of 50 qty at the price of Rs. 3150/- (Three thousand one hundred fifty only). I have paid the amount during Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) portal payment site using my Amazon pay. The amount is credited to ACK and order is not created for this transaction. I waited for 30 minutes to comeback to the ACK portal. Payment gateway never went to Order page. I tried to reach customer support, no one is answering the call. I sent email to the customer support and there is no reply. This happened on 4th April 2022. I have attached the transaction copy. Request you to provide me the justice against this transaction.                                 I have already mailed your customer care with all details, but absolutely low grade service.Unable to utilise the services, and the money has already been debited from my account.Looks like Team ACK is a habitual offender.Pl ensure this is done at the earliest.Will take it up very with the concerned department, if no appropriate action is taken.

                                      I had subscribed to tinkle through mysubs website from February. I have not received any issue from the time of subscription till now.                                         I am getting the copy of my tinkle very late and upon further investigation have found that the delivery has been opened and later delivered to me one week late. Very cleverly the person has opened the bottom of the envelope and took out the copy. Also they have removed the courier tracking sticker so that we cannot trace the person who delivered it.

                                        I am attaching photos which validate my complaint and request you to investigate further and take appropriate action on the delivery process so that subscribers like me don’t get disheartened and our eagerness to receive each tinkle book at the earliest is justified.
