I paid INR 4500 for the annual subscription(Print Copies) of National Geographic Magazine in November 2021--Subscription Number 176063.
After a delayed delivery of the December issue, Amar Chitra Katha told me that they "will no longer be able to distribute the promised print subscription copies for National Geographic Magazine starting January 2022". This email reached in May 2022 that too only after I asked the company about the non-delivery of the magazines- from January 2022 to May 2022.
The email said in "in lieu of the print copies of NGM, the company would offer me a digital subscription of 12 months to our National Geographic Traveller India App"
To this email, I replied that I wanted the subscription amount to be refunded as I was not interested in anything else other than NGM.
Replying to my email the company promised to refund the amount and asked me to share my bank account details. I did that. This was in the third week of May 2022. I was promised I would receive my amount within 20-25 working days. But it has been almost two months; I have not received my amount yet. In the last week of June, they told me I would get it in the Ist week of July. In the first week of July I was told I would get it within two weeks. And yesterday, I was told it would take two more weeks.
I want the company to return my money. I do not understand rather believe that such a renowned company can do this to a customer for having reposed a lot in them. Was this information helpful? |
