ACK is absolutely horrendous to deal with. They lost my delivery costing INR 5445 and their customer service emails have gone silent.
The delivery platform DTDC says they can’t find the item. ACK says they will follow up with DTDC. I ordered the product on 10/09/2025 and have not received the product yet or a refund or any response for that matter.

I purchased a lifetime digital subscription from Amar Chitra Katha in August 2024. Their support team explicitly confirmed in writing that it was a lifetime plan. However, the system still showed an expiry date after one year, and in 2025 my access was simply cut off with the message ‘subscription expired.’

The product is buggy and cannot navigate a single comic when navigating the app. The experience of reading the comics is terrible. You can only get to know it once you subscribe to the product.

Now, there is no refund once you subscribe. So my advise to ACK is to improve the product and then come in the market.

Stop selling scam products without refund policy....

I have seen amount was debited without any alert I see an alert from bank received on email.. instantly I blocked my card .. I don't know about the transaction.. I have written to Amar chitra Katha Team .. but bo one responded ...

Never got the link after paying 300$

Though i had subscribed for free subscription of amar chitra katha for a period of 6months after 6months my bank account was debited for Rs. 1178.82/- on 03/03/24 as renewal of subscription without my knowledge.

At the time of subscription by default auto renew option was selected by default but while renewal my consent for debiting the said amount of Rs. 1178.82/- was not taken.

I have placed order number 25002. It is now more than 10 days and the order is neither shipped nor I am provided any update as yet
No response to email sent 4 days ago to customer care email mentioned. The WhatsApp shown phone number is always switched off and the customer care chat with agent is in not available now status

I have purchased the Amar Chitra Katha App Lifetime Subscription on 30 August 2023, Invoice No. 15918, Order No. 16919. As yet I do not have access to all the Amar Chitra Katha titles as stated in the advertisement.

We had ordered in bulk by order no. 78504 on 18th August 2023 but there is no information on the shipment till now and it is continuously showing as 'in process'. All the numbers given for customer care etc. are switched off or incoming calls are not allowed on the numbers. We want to have the order delivered immediately or our money to be refunded.

It has been almost a month now still my refund is not received for unwanted subscription.

Also neither they have sent any mail or contacted me in this regard.

I had placed an order of 11 Amar Chitra katha books on 16 June 2023 amounting to Rs 2091, the payment was done through UPI, the amount was debited but the order was not placed I waited for a few minutes, but nothing happened, I did not receive any confirmation mail from their side I tried calling the customer care but none of their numbers are valid and working. Kindly look through this.

20 days have passed since my first complaint but i have not received any response from the company. Still awiaitng my refund of Rs. 943/- debited from my bank account in authorised manner on 15/5/23

At the time of subscription by default auto renew option was selected by default but while renewal my consent for debiting the said amount of Rs. 943/- was not taken.

I had got this subscription through Times Prime membership and this membership was taken by paying online through debit card. with this membership i got amar chitra katha membership free for which i had not entered any card details hence they cannot debit any amount for their membership from my bank account which is daylight robbery.

I tried sending mails to amar chitra katha but all mails bounced back. Also tried calling many numbers but some are not working and few have incoming barred.

Hence i request the consumer forum to look into my matter and help me with the refund of Rs. 943/- back into my account at the earliest.
