Amazon India — Delivery agent refused to deliver my package

Amazon company and the delivery agent has got the most pathetic system of communication. There's no way you can raise a complaint to the company and they can directly contact the delivery agent. According to them they can't directly contact the delivery agent which is just ridiculous. I have a job and I can't keep coming home to receive the parcel. So as told by the delivery agent I was coming home and waiting for the parcel at that particular time but the delivery person never showed up. This happened for two days. I left my work and waited at home for 4 hours. Then finally when he picks up the call he tells me he just passed by my address and he can't turn around and come back even though it's 2 minutes away. Inspite of telling him and the Amazon company that I have to get back to my workplace and I can't keep waiting for hours for my parcel like this there was no action taken. They kept saying that matter is getting escalated and complaint is being lodged. While the delivery person told me on phone that he won't be coming this way again and won't be delivering it that day. The same thing went on for two days. It's just pathetic how there's no direct communication between the Amazon company and the delivery person. And there's no way this issue can be solved. This has happened so many times in the past and especially with amazon orders and the delivery person has returned my order saying it couldn't be delivered due to "external factors". This is my last order on Amazon and I shall never use it again and I'll make sure I pass on this message to everyone I know so that they don't have to go through this pathetic system.
