Dear Sirs,
I have placed an order with Amazon India, through their online platform, vide order number[protected] dated 24th June for Motorola Edge 50 Neo 5G (Pantone Nautical Blue, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage) for an amount of Rs. 20682 (Twenty thousand six hundred and eighty two only). For an exchange of old mobile, I was offered Rs. 2850 (Two thousand eight hundred fifty only) through their online platform, subject to the quality of mobile (basis inspection at the time of delivery of new mobile). For this inspection service, they have also charged me an amount Rs. 179 (vide their order number[protected] dated 24th June it self. I have paid for this amount of Rs.179 also while placing the order for the new mobile.
However, during the delivery of my mobile, as the delivery man was rude in behaviour, for inspection of mobile, I have rejected the offer, and paid the balance amount Rs. 2850 (which was not to be paid, as it is basis inspection of mobile).in view of this I have paid the full amount of Rs. 20682 for the new mobile.
My concern is as follows
1. As the exchange pick up service has not happened, I have called their customer service in[protected] and requested them to refund Rs. 179.
2. It is so sad that the customer executive replied back to me, as it is not possible to provide the refund, due to their system, as their system doesn't allow it, though he accepted my concern.
3.in view of this, my query to Amazon India is, how come they can charge customer Rs. 179 for the service, which he has not availed, and refund they cannot provide, due to their system issue.
I request this forum to get back my Rs. 179 and ensure justice is provided to the end consumer, due to the lapse in Amazon India's processes while handling end consumer.
Regards,
E. Saravanakumar
