We bought a TCL Smart TV via Amazon. Order ID:[protected]. The TV costed us ₹79900/-. When we bought the TV, amazon displayed 2year warranty. The TV Screen has developed a long black patch. We contacted Amazon to complain about the same believing that our TV is under the said warranty period. Amazon agreed that the warranty of 2years was mentioned, however, this was denied by TCL. TCL estimated the cost of repairs at 90% of the television cost. Which is extremely expensive (stated amount approximately ₹70, 000/-) and wrong for us because the product should be in warranty. Thereafter, we have provided Amazon with everything every detail they required from us in the matter. We have been following up with them from April 16th and it has been more than a month now where Amazon has failed to provide us with any kind of resolution. We are really distressed because every time we call the customer support, we speak to a new customer service representative, and they raise a ticket and give us a resolution assurance and buy time from us. Following this, nothing gets done, ticket gets resolved without even resolving the issue and we have to begin from scratch telling everything again and waiting for the next date hoping for some resolution. We feel cheated and astray. They’re just hanging us and buying time, giving false assurances. We are clueless what to do. Please help us. Best regards.
