On 27th Dec 2024, I ordered a LaCie Rugged USB-C 5TB Portable External Hard Drive Order Number:[protected] for which I paid Rs.9299/-. The same was supposed to be delivered on 1st Jan 2025. Amazon has provided the tracking ID of the package sent via BlueDart.
On Jan 1st afternoon, I got an SMS stating the package has been delivered. I called Amazon and informed the same. Amazon customer service asked me to wait to till next day as product delivered is marked on BlueDart website only and not on Amazon. I called Amazon on Jan 2nd and asked for refund or product delivery tracking. They asked me to call after Jan 6th as there might be delay upto a week as per their customer care. I called on Jan 7th and raised a complaint for the refund. Amazon said, they will raise for an investigation and after investigation they will provide refund.
Interesting fact is as per Bluedart website tracking, on Jan 1st 2025 at 1.21pm it was reported as I have provided incorrect pin and at 1.23pm, packet got delivered. No one has called on my number and no courier agent came to even nearby houses which I confirmed.
On Jan 13th, I called Amazon again and the reply I got via was shocking - "BlueDart delivered the intact box to you, confirmed by your signature on 28 December, 2024". As per Bluedart tracking itself, the packet was booked on 28th Dec 1.54pm at Rajkot only. I didn't understand what kind of investigation their Specialist team has conducted.
Amazon team said that "Packet was delivered to you, so no refund, nothing can be done". I tried to contact higher authorities but they said nothing can be done eventhough I contact their higher official as reply from Specialist team is final.
I even requested a re-investigation on this case with the screenshots attached. I even asked Amazon to contact Bluedart and confirm the elivery of the packet which they are not ready to do.
I contacted Bluedart and informed the non-delivery of the tracking ID [protected]. Bluedart replied that except the pincode 625017, the name, address, contact number nothing is mine as per their document.
Amazon is not even ready to accept their Specialist team's investigation failure, to contact BlueDart and confirm the non-delivery of packet to me or anything. All they are doing is mere denial from Jan 13th. My fund of Rs.9299 is blocked from Jan 1st with them.
I hereby request you to kindly consider this case and give proper compensation and fine to Amazon so that no one will ever face this kind of negligence.
