I placed an order on Amazon India (Order ID:[protected] which was marked as "Lost in Transit" over four months ago. As per Amazon’s policy, I was eligible for a full refund, but to date, I have not received it. Despite multiple attempts through calls, emails, and chats, Amazon has failed to resolve this issue or process my rightful refund.
Furthermore, during my follow-ups, I was repeatedly subjected to rude and dismissive behavior by customer service representatives. My time and effort have been consistently ignored, and no proactive update was provided to me regarding the refund status.
This constitutes clear deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The unresolved refund and unprofessional conduct have caused me mental distress, emotional harassment, and loss of productivity.
I am now requesting the following resolution:
Immediate full refund of ₹399.
Compensation of ₹10, 000 for the stress, time loss, and poor service.
A formal written apology from Amazon India for the customer service misconduct.
I have retained all proof including emails, chat transcripts, and order history, and I am ready to escalate this matter further legally if not resolved within 7 working days.
