Amazon India — Repeated Delivery Failure and Mental Harassment by Amazon Request for Compensation

I am writing this complaint against Amazon India regarding the extremely unprofessional and careless behavior of their delivery and customer support teams, which has caused me significant inconvenience, frustration, and mental stress.

I ordered a OnePlus 13R smartphone from Amazon on 19th October 2025, with an expected delivery date of 22th October 2025. However, on the delivery date, the delivery status was incorrectly updated as “Delivery Rejected by Customer” even though no delivery agent visited my address or contacted me. I did not receive any call or delivery attempt from the delivery person.

I immediately contacted Amazon Customer Care, where I was informed that the issue could not be resolved and I was advised to reorder the same item. By then, the price of the phone had increased by approximately 13–14%, but the representative assured me that after the return window closes, I would be compensated for the price difference and inconvenience.

Following their advice, I reordered the OnePlus 13R on 25th October 2025, with an expected delivery on 26th October 2025. Unfortunately, the exact same issue occurred again. This time, the delivery agent made only one call while I was attending another call. I immediately tried to call back, but the number did not allow incoming calls. I even confirmed with my society’s security staff, who confirmed that no delivery agent visited the location.

This repeated negligence has caused me severe inconvenience and frustration. I had prepared to exchange my old mobile phone for the new one, which required me to format and set up my device twice, wasting several hours of my time and causing unnecessary stress.

Action Requested:

I demand an official apology and written clarification from Amazon regarding this repeated delivery failure.

I seek appropriate compensation for:

Wasting my time and effort due to Amazon’s repeated negligence.

The price difference (approx. 13–14%) I had to pay while reordering as per Amazon’s own suggestion.

The mental stress and inconvenience caused by these repeated failed deliveries.

I also request that Amazon take strict action against the concerned delivery personnel and ensure such irresponsible practices are not repeated.
