Amazon India — Tampered product in untampered packaging

Description:
I have received a tampered product in the tamper proof packaging. 'In-flight headphone adapter' was missing from the box.

I ordered Sony Wh-1000Xm4 Industry Leading Noise Cancellation Bluetooth Wireless Over Ear Headphones with Mic, 30 Hrs Battery, Multi Point, Aux (Blue) on 23rd May 2022. The product was delivered to me on 25th May.

The invoice was torn in 2 pieces.
The Sony box had 2 seals, 1 was opened and the other was not glued properly.
After unboxing I found that the in-flight adapter was missing from the box. The plastic wrapper/packaging was there in the box but with no adapter.

I immediately reported this issue to Amazon customer service and they said that the item will be replaced, but they need to issue an investigation for the same. I was asked to call Amazon customer care after 2 days. I called them and they reported that the item was delivered correctly and there was no tampering. But the box was definitely opened and someone removed the in-flight adapter. I then tried to escalate the issue by emailing at [protected]@amazon.in but they replied with the following:
Hello,

I understand that you have concerns for the order#[protected]

We have investigated this matter with the carrier. It appears that this package was delivered intact in condition and correct Item was shipped & delivered.

Based on the results of our investigation, we won’t be able to provide a replacement or refund for this order at this time.

Thank you for your understanding.

Resolution:
Please replace/return this item ASAP as I would not accept a tampered product.
