I recently tried to submit for transcripts for my wife at Andhra university who graduated 7 years ago. I noticed that the fee is stupidly large. Based on their online transcript system the charge is coming to 1400 Rs per transcript. Though the final consolidated marks sheet is only 1 paper based on semesters it is counted as 7. For every year beyond 5 years after graduation they are adding Rs.50 per year not again for entire document but 7*50 = Rs.350 for all semesters. If a person applies for 10 copies he will have to shell around 14, 000 Rs for just 10 transcripts.
Being a government run institution I find it amusing that they are charging such high costs. They must be reduced immediately. Verifying details might be time consuming for 1st copy but additional copies are straight forward. Cost of more than Rs.200 per copy is looting. Was this information helpful? |
