my coll sri shakthi institute of enginnering and technology , has violated lot of rules of anna university.. not getting fees as per university norms... re- opening the coll earlier without respecting university... more specified in collecting fees with out receipts................ we require proper action by education commission because many of them discontinued their studies ............. we kindly request the educational commisioner to help us because our staffs are torturing us beyond the limit............... just make a sudden raid in the office and investagate with students answers

Why the anna university tirunelveli affliated college ( K.N.S.K college of engineering) always reopens before the date announced by the university. Also they are collecting a gigantic whole-sum of[protected] for the absentees in each class.Extra 15000 had to be paid for dress, books and else into their stomach.. Only god can judge them. It shows that education is just a business. So the respect for the staffs are also in ash.

A poor student below the poverty line leaving my stomach empty for the afternoon.( But managed to pay the fine ,if else , they will throw me out of my class and gets another absent which results in "double fine".

In Anna University Coimbatore campus many illegal activities are happening. VC Karunakaran collecting money for all activities. He has collected more than Rs. 75 Crores after joining in Anna university Coimbatore. Exam papers are leaked before the exam in the campus. Lot of malpractice activities going on COE office. For each paper asking Rs. 5000/- to pass the exam.

i am from very poor family. already i have completed my UG B.E(computer science) by bank loan and completed with first class marks.after completion i joined in M.E. i have applied for bank loan for my PG studies also. now one semester completed but still my bank loan wasn't processed. i am helpless. i am in situation to discontinue my studies due to finance problem but i wish to continue my studies. so i request you to issue bank loan.

im a student of famous anna university, im doing my engineering graduate....i wrote my exams on dec 2010 the result were displayed on feb 2011, i got arrear in one subject then i applied revaluation for the same arrear paper.....the controller of examination announced the revaluation results will be displayed on 8th march...but today is 14th march still not displayed the revaluation result....i have to write the same exam on 17th march....mean while the controller of examination announced all students must pay arrear fees and they sholud collect their hall ticket....now i paid the fee and got the hall ticket....how can i write my arrear exam without knowing whether i cleared my paper or not....

if we ask controller of examination about the revaluation result....nobody is ready to answer our queries....this is the way of treating students in famous institution.

anna university students are helpless.....pls anyone help us quickly

Dear Students (of Tamil Nadu, India),

Dont even have a nightmare of joining Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore. Not even think of doing Ph.d in that University. This University stands first in case of whatever poor ratings that the University should have. There is not even 0.1% of planning in everything. They wont update you anything after joining the university. They are also mother saddist by not responding to us properly. It is such a shame to a city like Coimbatore meant especially for best place of education in India to have worst Univesity in the entire Universe.

This is regarding the MBA/MCA/M. SC course(s) that is being offered by the Anna University, at various centers in Tamil Nadu and also outside Tamil Nadu (including New Delhi).

I cant say about the MCA and the M.Sc courses, but the MBA course that is being offered by the university is still not recognized by any of DEC-UGC-IGNOU. It is mandatory for universities starting distance education coursed to secure the approval from these government bodies, or else, they will not be recognized after the completion of course, NO MATTER HOW HARD AND TOUGH THE COURSE IS .

I'm worried because there are many students who are pursuing the course presently, who are either unaware of this fact, or trust Anna University completely, owing to the respect that it has in the world. BUT NO MATTER WHAT THE UNIVERSITY IS , IT HAS TO SECURE THE APPROVAL BEFORE COMMENCING ANY (DISTANCE EDUCATION) COURSE.

THIS IS VERY SAD and I have tried inquiring about this through the center many a time and every time, they have a steady reply " It is in process and we will get it soon".

I think the present students should give pressure on the university to get this approval as soon as possible, otherwise it would become very difficult for the STUDENTS WHO HAVE JOINED THE COURSE WITH GREAT ASPIRATIONS.

Please consider this as very urgent and important

This is Muzzamil from Trichy (June 2009 MBA passed out student of JJ college of Engg. & Techno.)...
The problem is we did not get our degree & Final mark statement certificate from our university after completion of 1 and half year(17 months)
When ever we ask our college for our degree certificate they say to ask our university ,, when ask our university they are not responding properly ,,, they are saying all the document are ready but we will give you within a week ,,, (from Aug 11 they are saying this repeating),,,, some of our guys are not able to go abroad because of this ,,,,,, please take any action on them

I DID MY MBA FROM ANNA UNIVERSITY, TAMILNADU THROUGH DISTANCE MODE.
I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE INDIAN UNIVERSITIES WHICH OFFER DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMS SHOULD TAKE PERMISSION FROM " DISTANCE EDUCATION COUNCIL(DEC), NEW DELHI " BEFORE STATING THEIR COURSES, WITHOUT WHICH DEGREE'S OFFERED BY SUCH UNIVERSITIES ARE NOT VALID . HENCE UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA HAS TO TAKE PERMISSION FROM DEC AND IT IS MANDATORY FOR UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA GIVING DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES . ANNA UNIVERSITY IS ONE SUCH UNIVERSITY THAT DOES NOT HAVE DEC GRANT TO GIVE DISTANCE COURSES.
I AM FREQUENTLY ASKING THEM THE STATUS OF APPROVAL BUT YET TO GET.

STUDENTS OPTING FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION PLEASE CHECK THAT COURSES ARE APPROVED BY DEC.

Respected sir,

we students have been grevied very much for the acts of our prestegious institution in the name of revaluation(reval).In the examinations held during april-may 2010, our results on a certain subject was very poor. we were failed with very low marks. we then applied for revaluation with photo copy. it was very much evident from our photo copies that the paper scored 62 marks. hence i was very confident that my revauation results would be on tha positive side. but the results were NC. The whole of my class whom ever applied for revaluation in this paper were rendered with NC as the revaluation results.. i like to ask a few questions based upon these results:

1. how is it that a group of around 15 to 20 students of the same college were rendered with NC in the same subject?

2.When the paper is being submitted for second correction (reval correction), the first time correction marks are to be teared away from the answer sheets and an entirely new valuation is done by another valuator, so how come the second valuator also exactly suggests the same marks as the first one?( and that too for a large group of people )

3.annauniversity exams doesnot follow an objective based examination patterns inorder to provide exactly same marks from two different valuators .

4.if a paper of such kind gets cleared in the review, then wat is the meaning of the previous two corrections? and does a world renowned univeristy requires so many attempts to evaluate a paper?

5.if the criteria posed on point number 2. is not possible, then on what basis are these NC being released as results? Can we assume that the university relases the results without correcting all of the papers and marks those un corrected papers as NC papers?

6. if the above condition is true then what is the value for the student who pays so much of money for the sake of revaluation??


these complains are very truthful and they spoil the name of the world renowned university.

Anna University Coimbatore not having any facility for doing Ph.D, even no research journals available. Dr. T. Kannadasan, not doing any work. He is interested only collecting money from the research scholar admission and processing of thesis. i kindly request the VC to terminate him immdeatly

i am student of mahendra engg. college ,nammakal dt, under anna university coimbatore.. my session is 2007-11.in my 3rd semester ,i got year back due to lack of attendence..my attendence was 64%...but in my college, some student had 40% in instrumentation branch . but he had write his exam.. i belongs to eee branch... ttill now i didnt join my college... my carrer jas full spoiled..so pls help me regarding this issues..my register no-[protected] ,eee dept. session[protected].

i was applied amount for(tution fee=118320 and sony laptop 49990)

totally 168310 now loan are sanctioned 10600 only,i don,t know

sir i'm working in psn technology, tirunelveli. here the management is worst. we are working for about 15 hours for a day. that is, morning 6.15am to 8.30pm. no rest. ok my question is, i dont know where to complaint this. coz our management wont accept any thing and they need only money. they'll do any thing for money. they wont follow anna university rules.now for senior staffs they are giving 16000. if we ask our certificate, the management are asking 3 months salary(even if informed before 3 months). tell me what should i do.......

I have received my PAN No ten years back.But i did not get the PAN card.I contacted the incometax department, Nungabakkam, Chennai.They collected my address.But still i did not get the card.I received PAN when i was working in T.S.Narayanaswami college of arts and science during 1998.But i got appointment in Anna University Chennai six years back and working now. I am also to inform you that i have changed my name as K.S.Sivakumaren from S.Sivakumar

I need PAN card.Please guide me what i should do?

Anna University - Coimbatore is very cleaver, if it is been planned properly many would be benefited. Instead, it is trouble'g more. For example: Recently the university rescheduled the trimester exam dates for PG students and requested to view the site: www.auexams.com for a detailed schedule, the problem arises here, the individual login user name cum password is not provided for the students and without that, the schedule cannot be viewed. The situation over hear is, the students are not informed priorly the exam schedule. And the previous trimester (Fourth Trimester) results are not yet released by the university. The students who have arrears would be troubled more without know'g results and exam schedule for both current trimester and for arrear exams. And the percentage calculation system for arrear students is not encouraging to come up in their life.
Also, still the proper marksheet for trimester one is not been yet provided with correct grades. For namesake a marksheet with wrong data which is of no use is been provided. Another issue is the university students are provided with the marks in marksheet and affiliated college students are provided with grades in their marksheets, than too with wrong grades and with many mistakes in the markheet. Kindly consider the students who are the assets for University.
