[Resolved]  AOC Monitor — Complaint on false rejecting of service

Address:Ernakulam, Kerala

complaint mail sent to the [protected]@aoc.com: Complaint no:[protected] Dear Sir, We have been using the AOC monitor bearing serial no: AOCSSSY2C2852676 which is under warranty period. I had reported a complaint in your toll free no: on 20/03/2014, complaint being the 3/4th of the screen turned black and got the job number [protected]. Evening by 4.30 p.m your service engineer visited our office and checked the monitor and told the panel should be replaced and he started to repair. After few minutes he told me that he forgot to take his screw driver suitable for removing the stand of the monitor and asked my permission to take it to his service center and get it repaired and returned before 6 p.m, which i agreed. After some time I got a call from the service center that there is some issue with serial number in the display panel, which is not matching with the one in your system and hence cannot be replaced. When i asked in detail they gave me the number of Ms. Kausalya who is in the Bangalore office. when I called her she started explaining the same excuse, later told me that she will look into it and let me know today. But today morning I got the monitor returned without repairing, citing the same excuese. Please note that apart from your service personnel nobody had repaired it before. If you check the calls logged previously, you can see that in August '13, i reported a similar complaint and the display was replaced. And in Sep/Oct '13 i logged another complaint, but it got resolved automatically after some time, your engineer visited for that and just checked and went back. I can feel a foul play in this case; service person coming without screw driver, taking it to the service center and comes up with a serial number issue. Please try to understand that I know that this monitor is under warranty, so why should I take to other service people. Ms. Kausalya told me that i might have given it to external agency for repair, which is fully false and i am not insane to do it when my product is under warranty. There is a possibility that 1) the person who repaired in August '13 might not have updated the correct serial number 2) The person who took the monitor to service center or other people in the service center changed the display panel to deny my right as a customer. I request you to please look into this matter and let me know what can be done, the monitor is very urgently required by me in my office. I also had reported this incident today in your toll free number, and was promised that they will call me back, but nobody had called me till now.
