We have been using Asianet broadband and cable connection for the past many years . Today when I tried logging in, it said that the usage is disabled as I have used above my permitted limit . I called up the customer care person and was told that I have to make payment at their office about 10 kms from where am staying . I have been making payments for a year in advance and they have admitted that my payment till Dec 2015 is with them . I requested them to adjust the extra usage charges from the money which is with them . I was travelling tomorrow early morning and had to do a fund transfer for which I need the net . They said they have no provision to collect the payment from my home and if I wanted the connection to be enabled, I had to go to their office and make the payment, after which only they could enable and they cannot adjust it in the amount which is already lying with them . They have agreed that there is no due from my end till date and the bill for the additional charges can be generated only next month . I kept asking them that when I have already paid till Dec 2015 and no bill for additional charges has been raised, why my connection cannot be enabled on sunday . Since the net was not working, there was no way I could make an online transfer too . And they say they have no provision to collect the payment from home, when today morning a person from Asianet cable came to collect the cable charges for the next year . It is such a frustrating situation when you make payment for a year in advance and no bill for additional usage raised, but the connection is disabled in want of payment and that too on a sunday .
