Asianet — Internet Modem Explodes

My broadband cable modem was exploded and it damaged the LAN Card, Mother Board and Keyboard of my computer. My Zenith LCD Monoitor and HP Laserjet M 1005 wer also damaged. Since the Modem was within the warranty period, I got a replacement. I have spent an amount of nearly Rs.6000/- to repair the above things. It is a clear case of over voltage in the modem that was passed throuh the cable. SMPS was not damaged. I request Asianet to compensate the amount of Rs.6000/- that I lost due to the malfunctioning of their modem or else I will approach other forum/s to get the compensation.
