Hi,

I am an Asianet Digital TV customer with subscriber code AG91000764. I have recently shifted my connection from Trivandrum to Ernakulam which they did only after 20 days from date of request (24 Oct 2011). From the day connection got transferred, I am getting only 2 channels Manorama News and ACV:(. I have called customer care several times and raised many complaints but of no use. If there was an opportunity of disconnecting the same and getting the money back i would have gone for it:(. At present I am waiting for someone to turn up to get this fixed.

Also if you plan to shift connection, first convert that to a monthly plan. then just leave it.. never think if transfering.. because they will ake transering charges.. by chance if Asianet is not present at the new location then they expect you to wait life long till they lay cable. for me when i asked for a refund they deducted the remaining 6 months money and also took money for free gift.. (can you believe) if someone will ever do this.. also they send me the policy document which was written 20 years back saying I will have to wait.. from this what i understood was i should not watch TV till they put cable.. I had to opt for other DTH by investing more money.. now We spoke to city and they are open to provide us for less price than Asianet. i will recomment not to use Asianet. you know I was using Asinet for over 5 years and then I had this experience :)

    I have Asianet cable connection under Cid JA90179118, and two days back registered a complaint of having a channel without sound,but no response.Subsequently from next day cable connection as whole has been disconnected without notice.More over since three,four months intermittent cable failure was occurring.This was too brought to notice over phone and no steps taken by their Palkkad office.On[protected] from morning till evening I tried to contact Palakkad office and did not get them over phone. My cable connection is for one year and I do not understand how the delay of getting the connection either on repairs or what so ever be compensated.

      I had called the asianet customer care and registered a complaint on 24th october 2011. They told it would be repaired on 25th morning. I called them thrice again and they didn't do any action till today (29th october 2011). The agency is not even taking the telephone when called so registered it indirectly through customer care. They will come on time to collect the cash and it is up to date. I need right judgement for this.

      Thats true, even Asianet Cable is cheating customers by reducing its channels now.Thay are not providing Star Sports, Espn, Now they are not providing from last two days UTV Channel Pakages.But they are charging for the 150 + Channel Pakages.No Zee Tv Pakages.

        In one word i can say that the very very poor service. The cable disconnect every 2 or 3 hrs. We cannot see any programs in the TV till to the end, there will be an interruption in the service almost every time. I made a complaint once and i got a response that it will take 24hr to identify the problem . Are we living in this century ? 24 hrs, anyway i cannot afford that. So I am planning to discontinue this and i will go to my local cable vendor. Atleast i can see the programs without break. I agree that Asianet is providing good picture clarity , but what is the use without "picture"

        the worst cable tv service in kerala is asianet, they are least bothered about the customer best, its high time we switch to dth service

        they never attend any complaint if you pay lumpsum .
        I had posted a complaint on23-1-12 (No.HAO105404)regardin non availability of audio in my digital t.v. No action so far from your service persona. Is there any one to monitor such complaints. BALAKRISHNAN. [protected]

        Asianet — STB not receiving signal

        From 12th May till today (14th), I am without TV connection. I have 2 STBs and payment for full year [aid in advance. No action by your team yet.

          Wish to register my complaint against the programme - Munch DANCE DANCE, aired by ASIANET, supposed to be a premium malayalam channel.
          This programme encourages to pair boys and girls and perform great romantic dances with complete adulterated moves, dresses, also marks are given to pairs who have good expressions.

          Hence the kids are forced to think like a grown ups and act at young age, against the nature and have chances to affect the culture.

          WISH TO BRING A movement to rescue the future citizens of India.

              this is a complaint against refusal of shedding light on procedures to unsubscribe to my connection which has been renewed last month for another year and reclaim my money . this step o[censored]nsubscribing of my tv connection is being taken due to the extremely poor reception of channels as well as the pathetic response to such repeated complaints. most of the time the screen gets frozen and a msg of 'no signal' is displayed. the heights o[censored]nprofessionalism of the customer care is nothing to write home about. moreover, out of the original 150 channels which were promised, prime channels of sports are not being aired resulting in most of the relevant sporting action of our nation being missed out.
              this feedback is a result of consistent unhindered poor performance of the service over a sustained period of more than a year.

              Asianet Digital TV — glitchy reception and no star sports

              first of all the digital set top box output is full of glitches and it gets stuck all the time . . . . . .
              and top it all there is no star sports and espn
              french open is starting and i am going to miss the entire grand slam. . . . . . .
              this is horrible !!!!!

                We booked for cable connection on 12/9/2011 at Asianet office,Kozhencherry. They agreed to give the connection within two days. But they didn't do the same. As per their instruction,we took two days leave and wait for them. They didn't give connection to us. Kindly take proper action and do the favour as early as possible.

                Asianet cable service providing very poor service.
                Some of the worst service by Asianet and Asianet Kozhenchry and sub distributor at koipuram
                Asianet TV cable is broken by some vehicles and fell on the road at Eraviperoor, Poykapadi junction. Called many numbers, nobody is picking up the phone or not getting any line to inform them at Kozhencherry, no proper contact numbers anywhere, and nobody is there to attend the calls. very poor service. submitted today on 5th february 2021.

                    i am registering this Complaint to inform a big ingratitude showing by ASIANET to their Subscribers. we are paying around 180rs for their Cable TV and from the last 1-2 month they are not Telecasting the Following Channels (ESPN, STAR SPORTS, STAR CRICKET) at the same time some of the other Service providers providing these channels for a less fee, the other problems is if we want to know anything about this or any other service and somebody wants to book any complaints then nobody in ASIANET will never pick any of their calls. i tried more than 10-15 days to get someone to know this matter but still they couldn't give a proper answer. this is not the first time every years if there is any important programs will be going to telecast, ASIANET will cut that channels, for Example Last two year it was TEN Sports and TEN CRICKET... and they will put some unwanted channels for replace those important (Free Channels like ARAB Television, DD or something like ...) if they can't give a good service then they should reduce their subscription Fee. because no one gets money for free. Please take an action for this matter because most of the subscribers have paid Advance amount (12,24,36 month charges in advance) to get the service... then if they show this type of error then they should return the advanced payments

                      I purchased Asianet digital box for Rs:2250 for one year. That time i got all channels and sports channels. From may or june 2011 onwards Asianet communications ltd has suspended the telecasting of espn, star sports, star cricket channels. But i have paid the full cash in advance, because of getting these channels regulerly. I enquired so many times. But they are not looking into this matter. Till now we are not getting. Please look into this matter.

                          I have paid Rs.3420/- to Asianet Satellite Communication Ltd on 18.08.2010 for subscribing to their ADTV facility for 21 months. However, on 18.08.2011 the faclity was taken away 9 months ahead. the matter has been reported to Omallur office and they are demanding additional money.The set top bos is ok as two channels are functioning.                             Kindly view this complaint.Cricket is a religion here but we cant see our religion.Now the football season starts now we cant see that also.We Have to take connection for one year so that we cant change their service.We paid rs.2500 for one year.
                            The best thing is channels disappear.Football is available in three channels mainly ESPN-STAR and TEN ACTION+...CHAMPIONS league football is available in tenaction+ they show the first round matches later that channels will disappear towards the end stages.ESPN STAR is mainly available when no main cricket or football matches are not there.This is a trick they normally use every time.So they will say these channels are available.So we will take their connection.They will not pay money to these channels.When we call their response is poor they say techincal problem and all so we cant say anything back.We lost all our hope of watching football.This complaint is another hope.Hope after hope please dont let it DIE....Kindly take action

                              Asianet cable service in Kochi is one of the worst nightmare.
                              I moved to Kochi and requested Asianet to reconnect my existing cable service to my new location on 4th. On 6th August when I called requesting the status of my request, I was told this was not registered. Based on my request, they registered my request and request no. DB00002673. Despite numberous phone calls and requests, till todate i.e. on 12th August, nothing happened. After my repeated request, the lady who answer the asianet helpline [protected] requested me to contact their Palarivattom office telephone[protected]. Numberous call to Palarivattom office fruitless since no body answers this number.
                              Thanks to Asianet for their cheap, unprofessional service to their own customers in Kochi.

                              Re-Location connection

                              Asianet cable service in Kochi is one of the worst nightmare.
                              I moved to Tripunithur from Kadavanthra, Kochi and requested Asianet customer care to reconnect my existing cable service to my new location on 24th(Request No. GA[protected]. Despite numberous phone calls and requests, till todate i.e. on 29th August, nothing happened. After my repeated request, the lady who answer the asianet helpline [protected] requested me to contact their Palarivattom office telephone[protected]. Numberous call to Palarivattom office fruitless since no body answers this number.Now I am continuing my calls to Tripunithura office 3267409&3267408. After spending about Rs.5000/-- still waiting ...

                              Thanks to Asianet for their cheap, unprofessional service to their own customers in Kochi.

                                Asianet seems to act as if it can dictate terms to the viewers in kerala.While all other providers provide channels on the basis of viewer preference asianet seems to do just the opposite by providing what is their favourite...!!!! Unbelievable...ppl just dnt seem to question this in a news crazy kerala where asianet ofcourse ensures that the viewers get their quota of news without really having to take the case of headaches called paychannels.My request is to offer the viewers the payment option and provide those channels.The case in point is the upcoming ind-eng test series.Just when it seems that the test series is about to kick off asianet has blacked out its telecast.From what one can understand there seems to be sme friction between asianet and star.No clarity on that as of now.Hope the teleacast will be underway when the match begins on the 21st.Lest v have to retort to the step of switching over to another provider.

                                Asianet — non receivement of channels

                                asianet cable tv is one of the worst if not the worst cbale tv providers in the country. viewers have not been recieving channels like tensports and HBO for the past three months or so. asianet has blatantly taken these channels online without any prior notice.please be kind enogh to look into this matter.

                                i need to tell u something, ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE is coming. the most widely seen football league in the world. it will be utterly disappointing if you asianet guys wont meet the hope of sports lovers in the district. it will be better if you guys finish whatever business problems with the channel board.
                                Asianet took money from me for ten sports, ten action, espn and star sports along with other channels for two years. At first asianet stop broadcasting TEN SPORTS and TEN ACTION without any notice and last month onwards they stopped broadcasting ESPN and STAR SPORTS too. When contacted asianet, they said its a technical problem through out in kerala and when i contacted the respective channels, they told that asianet had failed to make payment and inturn they discontinued the subscription. This is robbery by ASIANET. Is there any law and oder in this country...????

                                I have just been conned by Asianet. Asianet set top box was installed about a month ago and I was quite satisfied with the available channels. They also had a scheme where if you paid for 1 year in advance a discount was offered. This was the scheme opted for. Today suddenly I find that some of the channels like BBC, Good Times, Star World, Star Sports. Travel & Living, Sony (there may be more) have been blanked out with the message 'channel unsubscribed contact the provider. On contacting them initially they said they will 'refresh it' and it should come through. Nothing happened. Contacted them again and then their reply is that I should go for an upgraded package and then those channels will be made available. On questioning how these channels were available till yesterday the reply was that was part of 'promotion'. There was no mention of this 'promotion' when we purchased the STB and paid subscription for a year in advance. Are we supposed to watch only what they tell us to watch!!

                                Asianet — unavailability of internet connection

                                my consumer no is TV32640, I m facing problem with my internet connection every single day for the past one month and have been reporting complaints in the no 2572333..there have been no proper responce till date . If this continues like this I will be forced to unsubscribe asianet plan .therefore do the needy

                                  The quality of service provided is poor. Inspite of many complaints there is no improvement. The area is Kakkanad in Kochi.
                                  I am an Asianet Cable subscriber residing at A-1, Bridgestone Apartment, Chalappuram, Kozhikode. Your representative Mr. Shyjo has collected the yearly subsciption of Rs. 1990/- on[protected]R) 05 March 2011 vide receipt No. 2010/376187 for installing the Set Top Box. It has not been installed till date and with great concern it is informed you that I have tried to contact the Kozhikode Office several times at Tele Nos. 3011425, 417, 405, but nobody attend it.

                                    I,lazar fernandez,is requesting u to cancel the asianet dataline broadband internet connection .As we already informed about the cancellation of internet connection about a year ago,but no action has been taken till now.It is noticed from the bill,that the total usage is 0MB and we are still recieving the bill of internet of the subcode:TV17928. ...
