I was using Asianet cable TV connection (Analog) for the past 4 years (Customer Id GA[protected] and I paid full connection fee up to December 2011. Since many of the channels are not clear and the connection dont have good channels, I decided to move on to digital connection from Asianet (For Rs.2200 for one year and 130 channels). I called up Asianet customer care on 7th May 2011 and asked for an upgrade to digital connection. The customer care person told me that I will be getting the new connection in 4 days. I called up the next Saturday (14th May) again since there was no response from Asianet. I got the information that Asianet is having a shortage for the STB (Digital connection device) and now it is resolved and I will be getting the connection in 3 days(They even sent me an SMS saying my complaint is registered with transaction Id (GA[protected]. I waited for another week and nothing happened and somehow my existing connection is also withdrawn (Now I am seeing only grains for the past two weeks) and I called up again and raised a concern. I got the response that I will be getting the new connection that day itself.

This is repeating for the past 2 weeks. Every day I will be calling customer care and they will promise that I will get the connection on the same day and no response from Asianet after that. Last Friday when I called Customer care, one Mr. Vipin told me that he will make sure that I will be getting the connection on Saturday. Nothing happened. Today I called customer care and ask how they will be responding if they are treated like this. The customer care lady told me that "she will definitely get violent" if something like this happens to her. Just like any other day she also promised me that I am going to get the connection today. I told her that I lost faith in the customer care people's promises. Nothing happened even now. So I am planning to discontinue the Asianet cable connection and planning to get a new connection from some other service provider. This is a typical example of how worst the Asianet customer care is. I asked the customer care people to provide someone's number or contact info so that I can escalate this. But they don’t have one. They are located in Thiruvananthapuram and don’t even have control over those who are responsible for connection in Ernakulum.

Very bad service from Asianet in Edappally/ Palarivattom in cochin, kerala. Myself staying near edappally. Applied for asianet connection on march. They just let me wait for more than 30 days, always saying will be ready in 2 days. They never call me to give an update. Whenever i call them, they says “will be ready in two days, some shortage ” or some other reason always. After 30 days, they “found” i am not under their circle and transferred the request to their nearby regional office. Then it was their chance to give excuses. Atlast, i took a Sun DTH connection. It seems Asianet got a lot of connection and they are not bothered to get anymore it seems. They are behaving like GOVT employees these days .

i have now applied for a new connection as then number of channels available in sun tv is less compared to what we pay. Still no response from them after 7 days. Very bad. Ridiculous
Absolutely a false decision.. I took the annual subscription by paying the amount in advance and last 2 weeks I had to called 2 days to get the connection up. And last day again it went down... No answer from the customer service.. Such a worst experience..Am going to file case against this to get my money back.
Any similar minds please join...

    I have taken a unlimited broadband connection for 300kbps speed from Asianet Dataline, the connection which they claim it is is much worse than the dial up connection, cant even check mails with this BROAD ... BAND ... connection.

    And that too is resets to the login page in between while in use every 10 minutes? and i dont understand why do they need a login page for unlimited connection, even if they have why its automatically resetting?


    And for the past one week there is no connection saying that their optic fiber cable is broken, but the same connection was available to one of my neighbor. What sort o[censored]nlimited connection is this?


    This is the worst service in kerala i have ever faced.

    Much better was the dial up connection..

    They are just cheating us ...........................

      My self and my family watch regularly and enjoy all those 'Asianet' send to us. And, indeed, you have all our best wishes.

      But, there is one area that really annoyed us is that the way the interviewers (especially the girls) dress up during they interview prominent and aged people. I can give you a recent example the girl (forgot her name!) interviewed Mr Amita Bachan, with the Idea Star Singers.

      While Amitabji (we all were lucky to get his valuable time; is it?) who was prising Kerala......as God's own country.......she sits in front him with her one leg on top of the other one.............Is it the traditional style of a Malayalee who sits in front of a old and prominent person? No matter who he/she is!!

      There are several such occasions which really need to be looked into before the shoot is taken place. Need some one to guide these new generations.

      If I am wrong to the new developed style...........then.......ignore this mail and if I am found to be correct (at least 75%), please advise them (the young girls) to give more respect to those give them time for the interview.........let us try our maximum to be Malayalee.

      no connection in the paralal line.

      not getting connection in the parallel line. It displays., as ' unauthorised connection, I have remitted fee for the paralal connection

        Hi,
        I'm Vinod/Thiruvalla.
        My complaint is against Asianet cable TV. We cant watch Ten Cricket here. We have to pay Rent regular basis and we have no autority to question it? India Vs South Africa match happens only on Ten Cricket and Asianet is not willing to telecast ten cricket,its pathetic. How a reputed cable TV operator in Kerala can say like dis???

          I was staying at Podiyadi, Thiruvalla in a rented house for the past 2.5 Yrs. Two weeks back, I shifted to a new house at Manippuzha just one KM away from my previous house. That day itself I requested Asianet Satellite Communication office at Ramanchira, Thiruvalla for shifting my digital cable connection. For this, I called their office more than ten times and totally disappointed with their responses. I already paid the subscription fee till May-2011. Please do the needful...

            On 4th dec2010 a complaint was given to the customer care department about the failure in connection despite my call to their customer care number daily non has called from the service department until today the 10th of dec 2010. A complaint ticket no GA[protected] was provided for no use. Some one who read this please dont take asianet cable TV connection. Irresponsible is the least word to use.
            I have asianet digital cable connection i already paid the rent for one year .now i can't get the signal so i registerd a complaint on janvary 31 but there no action from the asianet cable tv servive center chalakudy so pls take immidiate action against it...

I had been asianet cable TV and broadband dataline subscriber for 2 years when I was at Kottayam. [probably provided by 2nd party] at Ghandhinagar, near med college, Kottayam. When I was settling down at Thrissur in december 2008, they refused to transfer my connection / did not refund my deposit.
              later after coming to thrissur, I got both asianet cable TV connection and Dataline connection in december 2008. later i had taken an additional digital TV connection also.

              Asianet dataline services has been very excellent, except the person who comes to collect the money when renewal is due refuses to give me a bill [ even though he had a bill book with him ] . I had to plead with him to give me a bill [ A person with speech difficulty probaby cleft ]. still I find the service very good. prompt response to very rarely arising problems.

              Asianet digital cable services were excellent upto 6 months back, except , 2 episodes, when I asked for a change of remote control willing to pay for a new one, I was given a broken / repaired one and the delivery person told me that stocks were not available and promised me to replace it with a new one in few days. He was not to be seen again ever though I called up the cable services repeatedly.
              For the past 6 months asianet digital cable services has been horrible
              no displays and shows only searching for frequency / freezing of channels. every complaint is promptly responded to on my mobile within minutes with a message and ticket no. BUT earlier it used to be attended to, now nothing happens.

              On[protected], I got a call from a lady with asianet digital cable , Thrissur, telling me that I havent paid for my additional connection for the previous year.
              I told her that it was not right to bring up such discrepencies [ a mistake from her side] and asked her to give me full details of payment and to told her to clear all payment dues if any, which happened due to omission on her side , and collect it from me after giving me the bill for the same. within 4 hours [rapid response I would say] a person came to collect money from me [ collected rs 1080 from me ] . I told him please do not come with such things again and collect from me now if there is any thing remaining to pay . He told me that I've paid everything for subscription until april 2011. and gave me a ledger folio of all transactions. copy attached / copy of bills paid for last year attached

              He also gave me a bill for the money I paid for 1 yr before, on my insistence. [ no use since I had already filed my IT returns for that year]

              Now past few months I get routine calls from cable provider telling me sir, you have not paid for your connection please do so now we have attractive offers.

              Even 2 fellows came on an autorickshaw outside my gate and asked me whether you have paid for your connection , stood outside the house for a long time inspecting the cables [ when at that time nothing was wrong at that time with the cable connection ] - not expected of a corporate like yours.
              Also frequent are calls telling me asking me have you paid your bill ? since you have not renewed , renew now , we have good offers if you take connection for 1 to 3 yrs.
              VERY VERY FRUSTURATING especially when I am busy in the operating theatre doing microsurgery. one episode happened only this very month when I was operating on a very small child with hectic bleeding . I had expressed my displeasure at that time. After that episode the cable services have been so bad that I do not have words to express it.
              After that episode I thought that I shoud let the matter known to those at the head office in asianet. I repeatedly called the customer care [protected] and asked for the vice presidents number. no one would give me the number.very well run corporate . I had repeatedly called this number and asked for help explaining my problems.

              One person called VYSAKH was very responsible and gave me the no. of one Mr. Gopalakrishnan - [ the most irresponsible person whom I've ever talked with in my life], I was told he was incharge of thrissur operations .I was given his no [protected].
              I called him on[protected], he told me I'm in Palakkad now , I shall you tomorrow morning at 10 am. Next day I waited until 5 pm, no response. I called him again he responded in an irresponsible manner asking wheather I'm calling from shobha city. then he told me that he was in a shop in palakkad and gave me 2 nos to contact. 3015500 & 3015501 , [ were not excisting / did not respond] , when I asked him the vice presidents no he responded in a sarcastic tone telling me that the vice president wont do anything he will just ask you to contact me [ gopalakrishnan].
              I then called customer care and was attended by a Mr.Mithun, on 18-11-10.
              he reassured me and told me that the matter would be taken up immediately. I again waited for few days , complaints still persisted. Now for the past 3 days the problem with my main connection has resolved but my additional connection is not receiving any channels. repeated complaints received the following messages
              11-11-10 warranty of digital set top box is over pls contact AMO [protected]
              for attractive AMC offer - contacted no . no reply

              I contacted customer care told him about message and asked him what to do, he told me he would follow up the matter and let me know.

              later I received the same message on[protected].
              when i called customer care received a message complaint registered
              ticket no HA 01014326

              2 days back when I called up customer care [ Nirmal ] , and told him i need to talk to someone responsible , he told me courtesly that the matter would be solved the next day.
              I had requested him to terminate my connection and I would opt for some other cable connection , he assured me that matters would be solved.
              The next day some people from asianet did some work and THE MAIN CONNECTION PROBLEM WAS SOLVED, THEY LEFT SAYING THAT THE ADDITIONAL CONNECTION PROBLEM CANNOT BE SOLVED.
              they had asked me to contact them, when I called customercare they told me there was some problem and the same would be solved the next day. today they had worked in cables outside my house but no one contacted me or told me what is wrong. today there is nothing no channels on my additional connection
              Today 25-11-10, I talked to Mr.Harshad, customer care and told him the whole story , Also told him i would send mails to corporated office by 10 pm if I do not get a response , at least a call from whomever is responsible .
              I received a message no picture complaint registered ticket no 01014514

              I am writing this mail out of frusturation, and as a last resort. I do understand difficulties of running a large corporate like yours, that's why I restrained myself from contacting the corporate office for so long.

              I PERSONALLY DO NOT WANT ANYONE NAMED OR UNNAMED TO BE PENALISED OR FOR THAT MATTER HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

              Everyone in customer care no [protected] have been very courteous and well mannered

              attached copies ledger folio provided to me and copies of bills paid this year.

              But I didnt have any other option. please get my problem solved. If there is any money to be paid [ due to anyones fault ], I am ready to do that. If any dues pls tell me and collect it from me.
              Still if these are not possible pls tell me how to unsubscribe, I shall opt for some other cable connection. Even though I have paid money for subscription until april 2011, I do not want any refund, if there is no more trouble

              Belive me , in all hospitals I visit, in the doctors room when the topic of cable connection comes up every one has very sorry things to say about asianet cable .

                Being a fool I took a one year cable connection from asianet my name is manoj my connection is GA00451608 every time they took atleast one week to rectify a problem that too if we call them every day and remind them now i lost connection on 20th i made a complaint on 21 I got a ticket no 10507
                I used to call the customer support every day and some call center guy will answer saying the stock reply " We have forwarded your complaint to the center some one will attend the call today" every day. This asianet guys are good for nothing people . So I warn you guys DONT EVEN THINK OF TAKING AN ASIANET CABLE CONNECTION ALL MY WISE NEIGHBOURS Are taken local connection and all their problems are attended within hours of making a complaint.waiting for my one year validity to end so that i can also interact with human not donkies

                  Sir,

                  Am Rottu from Trivandrum. This is regarding the complaint of M/s. Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd digital box. We have subscribed for it on 26/8/2010 vide receipt no. 2010/267781 for Rs. 2280/-, period August 2010 to July 2011. However the digital box connection was given today (21/09/2010) about a month after collecting the amount in advance. In between we had approached them personally two times and a couple of times over telephone. I contacted them on this no.[protected]Peroorkada office) but, the response was very very desperate.
                  However last night i got fed up and raised a complaint with their head office at Edaphazhinji, Trivandrum (num.[protected]. The person attended the call was so pleasing and helpful and he raised a complaint on the spot...and as a result i got a call from the Asianet early morning around 7.45am and the person from Peroorkada came for connection at around 10am today( 21/09/2010).
                  I would like to knw if i cud get the connection extended to one more month ie till August 2011 as the connection was given only a month after the payment date. If not would like to get a clarification from the M/s. Asianet Communication stating why "they collect the amount in advance if they are not sure when the connection would be activated?".On asking the person who came to give connection the response was " i[censored] need the amount of Rs.8/- would be deducted as from the amount collected but can't extend to one more month". That was really insulting for me as a customer. What is that? Is this the way a reputed company should act to its customers?...should we beg them for their service despite paying them the entire amount?...are the customers on their mercy? . Is this justice?

                  Asianet Satellite Communication L:td. — poor service

                  I am a subscriber for asianet cable t.v. at Trivandrum.My Sub Code No. AA02480181 My connection is poor and distorted pictures are received. When I complain, somebody will come and rectify some channels.but not complete channels. I am missing channels like HBO, National Georgraphy, even Doordarsan National Channel.
                  Repeated complaints do not evoke proper respopnse. Please help me.
                  I tried to change my cable to another room but the techs did not come for 4 days. Very poor customer service

                    For the last one month, most of the channels in Asianet in my home are having complaints. They are not clear and some of the channels like Kiran TV is not even there. We have paid a lumsum amount to the asianet in advance and hence they are the lease bothered, I guess. I have already brought this into notice of the local Asianet office and also registered a complaint in the customer care. They are also the least bothered.

                      Sub: Set top box & remote service and replacement regarding.

                      Sir,

                      I am subscribing Asianet cable connection since 2006 and purchased set top box in 2006 / 2007. I was told that I will get it serviced free of cost / get it replaced, if any problem arises in future, as long as I subscribe cable connection.

                      The set top box had some problems in 2008 and got it serviced and it was working well.
                      Since last one month the remote is not working well. Some times it works and some times it does not . My complaint was registered and I was told that I will get it replaced on the next day.
                      A service technician came to my residence on 21/ 08 / 2010 and gave me another old remote and I was asked to pay Rs 100/- for the remote. Immediately I found thet the one given to me is defective and I asked for a new one.I was told that new remote is out of stock and may be available after a week. He advised me to use the one handed over to me on that day and to register a complaint once again to get a new remote. He told me that I will have to pay Rs 300/- for the new remote, when it is made availbale. Immediately after he left I found that remote given to me after charging Rs 100/- is not working. I called the helpline number immediately and registered a complaint. I was told that sunday (22/08/2010)is also a working day for them and I will be getting a new remote on 22nd of august but I will have to pay Rs 300/- when it is delivered to me. However nobody turned up on 22nd.

                      I understand that set top box along with remote is provided free of cost to all new subscribers. The fee for new subscription and renewal of subscription are the same.Those who take a new subscription get brand new equipment free of cost. I am asked to pay for servicing / replacement of a defective equipment though I have paid the same amount for renewal of my subscription.

                      I am renewing my subscription every year and I denied of the free service/ replacement of defective remote which is against the initial offer made at the time of initial subscription of digital cable connection.
                      I had sent a coplaint by E mail on 24/08/2010 but I did not get any reply till now(12/09/2010).

                      I am not able to view the progrmmes since last 22 days. Today I called the customer care number and nobody picked the phone for 40 minutes (from 12 noon to 12.40PM on 12/09/2010).

                      At 12 .44 PM I could speak to a representative.She told me that new remote is out of stock.


                      If I do not get a remote in working condition I would like to cancel my subscription.

                      I enquired about the procedure for cancelling the subscription and getting the subscription fee refunded. The representative told me that she does not know about it.

                      Please advise me.

                      Dear friend,
                      This is not the only problem facing by you but more than 1000 subscribers of Asianet Digital. Tthe managing team of each divisions are useless who doset have enough responsibilities. Please do complaint through consumer court regarding. I was also trying for the remore for than 2 months.

                      I think the complaint is 100% true .I also have a similar experience .I booked for asianet set top box on 19-5-12, the ticket no being IND153842.Even after a laps of one week they are not able to inform me the date on which they will provide the connection. Each time i contact through telephone (no.being [protected]), they say one reason or other and will promise that they will try to provide it on the next day. The incident is repeating for the past one week. Now i have decided to cancel the booking and to get a connection from some other firm.Even after I have disclosed my decision telephonically to them they shown no interest to provide the connection. In my experience I have not met with such an irresponsible firm which has lost all credibility to me.My advice to those who visit this site is that, this firm is the most untrustworthy one and never rely on them for any service provided by them.

                        I am subscriber for one year of Asianet cable connection with sub code E / 933 since 10.09.2009. I asked for shifting from UKS road calicut to Eranhipalam calicut person who gave me connection is asking Rs. 270/- as shifting charge. I came to know who is having one year connection they do not have to pay any shifting charge kindly suggest.

                          The Asianet Transmission in this area is interrupted for the last one week.
                          Even though we were making complaint to their customer cell, no body has rectified 100%. Moreover we are not able to get a proper and honest reply from their side.
                          I am a customer who has made the payment for One Year fully. It is very painful to experience such a treatment from Asianet Satellite Communications.

Inspite of my repeated complaint of no signal for the past one month , I have not got the connection corrected. I have been calling the customer care number a lot of times now and they have been telling the complaint will be rectified in few days.Its almost one month now and I have decided to file a complaint for correcting the issue.

                            My Subscriber ID is DA00650072 and Associate ID is 850H082. I am subscriber of the above company for about 12 years . Inspite of my telephonic complaint registered on 16.06.2010(Complaint No.DA[protected], the signals are not made available by the company.I am unable to view the Football world cup matches and Asia Cup Cricket tournament for the last one week
                            A genuine complaint. Should be rectified as soon as possible since there are many individuals who spent their leisure time in front of TV so that they do not have any "devil's workshop." Please rectivy.

                              My son had taken an internet connection from Asianet for me. Of late, I find that
                              my computer gets connected to Internet only rarely. It is a imited use connection and all my bills are being paid regularly. But no one seem to bother about the needs and satisfaction of customers. My works are being delayed. Hope that Asianet will take care of the problem.

                              ASIANET — construction of tower

                              The in the name and brand of Asiannet, collecting money a sum of amount 60,000/ teliing that they will consrtruct tower from which a monthly income of about 5,000/- 7,000/ will be getting by benificeary. Is it a fraud company?

                                Dear Sir,

                                I applied for a new broadband connection from Asianet on 8th June 2010. I paid for 3 months in advance and also deposit for the modem. I was told that the connection will be given in 3 days. There was no response for my follow ups and after waiting for 15 days and with so many calls to the local asianet office, I got connection on 23 June 2010. It worked for 2 Hours and then stopped. I made so many complaints to the customer care but never got a proper response. Later on 28th June, I made request for cancelling my connection and make refund for the amount paid by me. There is no proper response for this also. Please let me know how can I get my money back.

                                anyway the services of asianet dataline is very bad.in my life i don't choose asianet dataline internet connection.it's my pledge
                                SUGGESTED SOLUTION-Terminate your ASIANET CABLE/ INTERNET connections immediately.Go to THE CONSUMER COURT for redressal & refund IF YOU NEED YOUR MONEY BACK & TRY OTHER CABLE TV OPERATERS/RELIANCE HIGH SPEED BROADBAND INTERNET instead.Or, go to the local TV MEDIA & TELL THEM ABOUT HOW ASIANET IS CHEATING YOU.This way you will live longer, avoid frustration & be more cheerful !!! I feel it is far better to lose a little money than BANG YOUR HEAD AGAINST A BRICK WALL & ruin your time & money with ASIANET.                                     I am a customer of Asianet Digital TV. My house is just 50 meters away from Asianet Cable TV office at Vazhakkala.
                                    For more than 4 days my remote is not working and hence I am not able to change channels
                                    To make a complaint, I cannot call Asianet because all lines are busy all the time.
                                    ASIANET IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER FOR DTH AND CABLE TV SRRVICE SIN KERALA. People desirous of taking cable tv services should go for services from SUN, AIRTEL, RELIANCE or TATA

                                      I am a subscriber to Asianet Cable Services for the past 10 years. The Asianet is not broadcasting ESPN and their associated channels. FIFA World Cup football 2010 is being telecast live only on ESPN. The fans in Kerala are in danger of missing the extravaganza which happens only once in four years. We have already missed the ICC T20 World Cup in May. The fans should not be the ones to suffer due to pending disputes between broadcasters.

                                      I am also a subscriber of asianet cable for 10 years This is an injustice that the asianet cable providers are doing to there customers and if they don't provide it before world cup they will lose a major percentage of customers. There are many friends of mine who are also customers of asianet who are planning to move on to dth service if asianet wont provide the channels I am also planning for that.
                                      this is notb justified.Acv cheat all subscribers to ban espn channels.

                                        Asianet cable television — Channels being unavailable

                                        Hi,
                                        We have the Asianet cable TV connection and we were getting most of the channels a month back. Now we are unable to get most of the good channels like Discovery Travel and living, HBO, NDTV Good Times etc. Even though Travel and living channel is part of Discovery Channel we are still unable to see it, even though Discovery is available to us. We have NDTV news channels but not NDTV Good Times. I am not sure if its worth paying so much monthly for providing all unwanted channels. We would appreciate if something that can be done, if not then we will have to change our provider.

                                        We are Malayalees staying in Choolaimedu, Chennai. We are regular viewers of Asianet programmes. Almost all the programmes, including Idea Star Singer are being watched by our family.

                                        From last month onwards, we are not getting Asianet channel. It is indeed a great loss to us. I heard that the cable operator here wants to include it in pay channel as he is aware of that there is a gret demand for Asianet channel here and all the malayalees would pay for the same thereby making his pocket full.

                                        As there are lots of malayalees here (even now-a-days lots of tamilians wach Asianet) who would be missing Asianet if it is converted into a paid channel, I would request you to kindly take immediate steps with the cable operators here on warfoot to provide the channel in the regular package.
