This incident happened on Jan 5, 2023. I had placed an order with Aurelia after talking to sales representative. They placed an online order for me and took my address for mailing the product with Cash on Delivery. I got a confirmation on email on Jan 2 about the order confirmation. On Jan 5, I got a call from someone from Aurelia and they confirmed all my personal details like my name, address, what product I purchased and the price of the product. Since they told me all my personal details, I believed them to be authentic. They gave me a gift card and told me everything is totally free. They charged me twice by duping me. Then the third time they auto debited a huge amount from my UPI and I lost Rs 86K. The biggest problem was they had data leak. I dont know from where the leak happened but how can they know all my personal details from a purchase I made 2 days ago. I demand the company take responsibility of this and pay back the money owed to me!! Was this information helpful? |
