My name is B Ganesh Rao, and I live in C2-247/3 Srinagar Extension, Mittanamalli, IAF Avadi, Chidambaram Nagar. Since two years ago, every time it rains, the drainage in front of my house becomes clogged. The water begins to flood on the road whenever it rains or the sewage becomes clogged. In order to quickly get rid of the drainage water, the Avadi municipality destroyed the sewage manhole's rings in December 2020. The sewage manhole's rings haven't been changed since. Living in the house and opening the main entrance is challenging because of the stench emanating from the clogged sewage. It contaminates the surroundings and presents health risks as well. We have brought up this matter with Sri P Arumugam, the councillor for Ward No. 3, on multiple occasions, but as of right now, no appropriate action has been taken. Therefore, I respectfully ask that you replace the sewer manhole rings and take the appropriate measures about the blocked sewage. Here are the attached images.
