Ax-hdfcbk — Spamming

Got the below message from AX-HDFC:

We have received your request to register Airtel Postpaid Biller for HDFC Bank BillPay service against (my phone number).

I have not requested for any kind of service like that and my number is prepaid. I have recently opened my salary account in HDFC without much choice as my organisation made it mandatory.
Because of above kind of messages frequently received by already existing users, i never wanted to risk opening an account in this bank.

Please, help me understand why I received such message.
