Me and my wife, both sr. citizens, were waiting at cadbury junction bus stop in thane for ac bus which runs from thane rly. stn. (east) to borivali (east) at around 10.00 pm on 7th july 2016. many buses stopped and went but the bus going to borivali did not come. it was very dark at the stop as no street lights were there at the spot. after waiting for 10 mts. one bus came along and stopped at the bus stop. there was no led display board on the bus nor any number. it was also difficult to know as to which bus it was as it was covered by mud and its colour was also not recognisable. the door remained closed and the conductor was sitting on one of the passenger seats in front. i tried to ask him about the bus destination, but both o[censored]s could not hear each other due to closed windows and door as the bus was ac. i could make out from the lip movement of one passenger sitting in front that the bus was going to borivali. we went to the door and requested driver to open the door. he opened and we boarded the bus. both o[censored]s are sr. citizens and my wife has knee trouble. it took some more time for her to settle. after about 15 feet the driver applied breaks suddenly. my wife could not hold her ballance and fell down straining her right hand.
This is the way of conduct of your driver and conductor on that particular trip. best is loosing its clients because of such type of irresposible, indifferent behaviour of your staff. bus no. was 1253. conductor badge no. was 112130. we were also charged rs. 190/- (rs.95/- each), though the best fares were reduced to 50% w. e. f. 1st july 2016 as per the newspaper reports.
