I purchased Bajaj Food Processor Fx 1000 Dlx around 6 months back(19/11/2021), thinking that its an established brand. But one fine day we started the mixer and we stared smelling something burning. The executive who came from service center said that some plastic part is damaged inside. He also mentioned that plastic part damage is not covered under warranty and we have to pay it get it fixed.
My question is, if a company is using sub-standard material and the product is damaged then what means does a consumer have to identify the quality of the product. We pay to the company relaying on their brand value but if in return the brand is giving sub-standard product, it should be treated as cheating.
Secondly, even after around a week after requesting the part, the part is not replaced yet by the service center(SR Enterprises, Shop No. 21, Sector 4, Greater Noida) and there is no time provided by the service center.
So, I am feeling cheated again even by the service center.
