Bajaj Electricals — Bajaj shakti water heater 15 litres

Mr Sandeep the technician came today and inspected my Bajaj water heater which I bought some years ago. He said the elemental and thermostat have to be replaced and he said both cost me Rs1150+ Rs1500= Rs 2650. His service charge is Rs 350. I asked him, is there any guarantee or warranty on the replaced part and he said "NO" I was flabbergasted. Any part that is electrical parts replaced in any gadgets will definitely have a guarantee or warranty period.. How come the parts that your company provides do not have any guarantee/warranty period? I wish to know. Being an advocate, I would like to address this issue in the newspaper.
