Bajaj Finserv has performed an unauthorized debit transaction in my ICICI savings account.
Date: 19th Feb 2022
Description: CMS/[protected]/BAJAJ_AUTO_CD_4050CD16
Amount: INR 117
On checking with the support team, I am informed that the amount has been charged against the annual subscription renewal for the EMI card.
However, I never applied for this EMI Card. I do not have possession of this EMI Card and I have never used this EMI Card ever.
On raising a complaint, Anusha R, Customer Service Associate, Bajaj Finance Limited. replies on Email dated Tue, Feb 22, 2022 at 6:05 PM saying the card will be blocked and the amount will be refunded to my account.
However, since then, I have followed up over email multiple times and I still haven't received the refund amount.
I do not have any ongoing financial business relationship with Bajaj. I would like to understand how did Bajaj manage to debit my account without my approval.
