Dear Sir,
I have been cheated by a group of 3 people Anurag Basu, Avik Saha and Soumyo Shekhar Banerjee (I have no idea if these names are real or fake), by luring me job offer in Bandhan Bank. I saw advertisements in renowned newspaper of North Bengal (UTTARBANGA SANBAD) on 09.02. 2023 and called this number Anurag Basu Bank Job scammer
[protected].. He asked me to send my CV and documents for departmental verification. I am a serious job aspirant so i followed his command. He also asked me to deposit a sum of Rs.210 as nonrefundable application form charge.. He gave me an UPI id - [protected]@okhdfcbank
I was instructed to send him of payment done.. I did so. He gave me one application form and asked me to take a print then fillup and send back after scan. I did so.. He received my application form via WhatsApp after that he told me to keep waiting, HR department will call me soon.
On 11/02/2023 another person Avik Saha called me and said "Congratulations Debajyoti, you have been selected for Bandhan Bank KYC executive."
That person elaborated my job role, salary and other things.. At the end of the conversation he asked me to deposit 100% refundable amount of Rs2890.00 for verification. This time also i transferred Rs.2890.00 to the UPI [protected]@okhdfcbank.. After depositing the amount they sent me one provisional appointment letter issued in my name.. Avik Saha's mobile number is [protected].. Avik Saha informed me that another person from Admin office will call me and then i will get my appointment letter and Posting branch details..
Today, 12/02/2023 by approx 12.30 pm, a person introduced himself as Soumyo Shekhar Banerjee, (Soumyo Shekhar Banerjee Bandhan Bank Admin
[protected]) called me.. Surprisingly he spoke in fluent English and behave very softly with me, he even asked the name of my son.. He told me about my job role etc. then he told me that i need IBPS for banking job and to manage that company will take a sum of Rs12, 500.00 as refundable amount.. Again he asked me to deposit in the same above mentioned UPI and take a screenshot and send him back..
Now i felt suspicious.. Why the hell they are asking money one by one??
I think Sir, this is big educated scammer group. Crores of young job aspirants are getting cheted in this way daily by fraud groups.
Please Sir take proper step to counter such scammers so that people like me never could be cheated by bad people.
